This review pains me. I have had a xootr for many years. I believe my first one was purchased in 2009. They have been GREAT. However my last two xootrs have had the same issue of a screw towards the bottom cracking and making the scooter inoperable. I loved Xootr so much I thought the first time was a fluke and purchased it again. It happened again and when I reach out to customer service and sales...nothing. crickets. Such a shame! I tried calling the number, emailing, following up...still nothing. They lost their biggest fan. Stay away from this company

I've had my xootr for less than 2 months and I already can no longer use it. The mechanism that sets its height is defective and causes the handlebars to sink as you ride, and it only takes a few minutes before it sinks completely. The company has ignored my emails trying to resolve this issue. These are supposedly 'high quality' scooters, yet the $70 one I bought on Amazon at least lasted me a year. I wish I never bought this thing, a complete waste of money
