So after over 15 years of holding onto AT&T, got fed up with them promising things they didn't produce and gave Xfinity ( our cable and and internet provider) a chance at $80/mo and 2 free 5g phones. We ported our phone numbers. $80 was actually $94, another lie, but more paletteable than AT&T's $100 lies. Then we moved. Current location is outside Comcast/Xfinity service areas. Phones work fine. We connected 8 months ago. For the first several months it did not associate our ported phone numbers with the phone account, spent a lot of time talking to Comcast who would break down and get us a call back from Xfinity mobile. When we call now, takes 10 minutes to get through to an intentionally digitized English speaking voice (digitized to hide foreign accent). This is because we closed our internet and tv accounts - it associates us with no active account - while aggravating, actually an improvement in wait time. So now they say they are going up $50/month because we don't have any internet or cable accounts with them. Say it is in the contract. I pulled the contract out and read it - asked them to point it out - don't see it anywhere. Response: well it's not in the contract, you were told when you signed up. My response - I wasn't told, and even if I were verbal statements have no affect on a contract. So they (illegally) locked my credit card to the account (will not let me remove) and charge me $50/month anyway. So the credit card is frozen in an auto bill account with no fixed term, that I can cancel at anytime without penalty by a company that when I call and enter the information that I am asked to enter says I have no account, have to enter a valid account number to speak to someone, after a few iterations finds a closed account and charges me $50/month more than we agreed. I tell them I want out. About those free phones - the Motorola one 5g ace locked (retails for $180 new unlocked) - they want a pay off $215 per phone. Paid them and demanded the phones be unlocked. Porting number as soon as unlocked back to one of the big 3 liars Democrats, Telecom, Pharma and Hollywood - liars, cheaters, murderers and thieves.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This has been the most aggravating experience trying to get a refund for a phone that I wanted to return. Needless to say, it has been 13 hours spent on the phone and I am still waiting for my refund. When you try to speak with a supervisor, you spend so much time on the phone and often times you get disconnected.

I bought 2 phones with unlimited plans from Xfinity. I should have taken it as a warning sign when the sales rep tried to say Verizon rents Their towers not the other way around. But I got service anyway. Well it sucked and often dropped and so on and so forth but I lived with it... Well I moved to Providence and of course Xfinity doesn't service Providence at all. Smart people.... well I was going to lose the discount on the mobile plan since I couldn't keep the internet. So I paid off my phones and requested them to be unlocked... Well they unlocked one but never unlocked the second... It's been 10 days and I have heard nothing but one of the phones has already ported to Verizon and the phone is pretty much dead untill its unlocked... I am on the phone for almost 2 hours and then they tell me they never processed the request for the second phone but they see the order... They tell me it will take 24 to 48 hours now... I insist that since I placed the order 10 days ago someone should escalate this to get it done now or sooner than 24 hours... The guy finally after arguing with me says he put in an order to escalate (no idea if he did).. then we figure out he has the wrong email on the account which is why I never received notice from the first order.... fun fact my email was in their system fine to bill me for the last 5 months but now it's put in wrong ok.... so then I simply ask for a supervisor or someone who can contact that department and get the unlock done sooner... Or just speak to someone to make a complaint... They put me on hold for 20 min and then just hang up... Never mind that it takes 20 minutes to get threw their Automated systems before you will be allowed to talk to anyone.... Do not get Xfinity internet or mobile.... They honestly don't care about their customers... It would be safer going with a satellite internet or another company with better customer service or a prepaid phone... Any discount they give is not worth the anxiety this whole thing has caused. And fun fact there was another lady having the same problem in the store at the same time as me... Xfinity your mobile customer service would be better serviced if you forwarded the call to a nursing home... I bet you would get the same service either way... Considering if you call their sales department you speak with someone in 1 minute... But they will just forward you to the automated system for customer service so that's not a work around sadly....

Worst service by far. I wish I would of read this post before getting Xfinity mobile. I canceled the account in may with a rep. June I get a bill. Canceled again. Another bill in July. Canceled again. Thought it was canceled since I didn’t get a bill. Get a text saying I’m past due and in collections. Tried canceling again and I was told can’t cancel cause bill is in collections. What? Take my advice don’t switch to comcast/Xfinity .

You added Turner Classic Movie channel to a huge sports package and your prices constantly go up. Your tech messed up my system and never fixed it yet charged me for coming out. When I call customer service I cant understand what they are saying and no one has a reason why my bill continually goes up. I go into the store and they will not print off a receipt or explain anything. What a shady business.

I would give them no stars if I could. My phone was on my mother's account. My brother who took over her finances from me allegedly had issue with this according to her. Anyways, for weeks I asked her to get the login information etc so I'm could remove my device. Unknowingly to me she never asked my brother and led me to believe she had. I had purchased Mint Mobile (who will not give me a refund) and activated it not knowing my phone not only needed to be unlocked but there is a code you need. They sent a code to my phone when it was paid off by my brother (I had sent the money to my mother) and unlocked. It did not work. I called tech support numerous times and it was always we need the last four digits of the credit card on file even though I knew all her other information. I finally get one agent who gets their manager to put in a request ticket and am told I would get that code to unlock the sim card within 48 hours. I never get it. I call again. They need the credit card info before they will help. So I plead to my mother and she calls my brother who gives it to her. I'm told they are still working on it. The agent says they will call me and that he also will call me. They never do. My mother does get another code sent to her phone. I try it and it doesn't work. I am now out $132 because I cannot use the phone and will have to buy a new one and $80 for the Mint Mobile. Xfinity Mobile technical support are useless and so are the customer agents. Everytime I called I had to explain all over the whole scenario and keep reliving the frustration. Incidentally my phone still has not been removed from my mother's account and I have now given up completely. I hope Xfinity Mobile are happy with themselves. I will never use them for any service ever again!

Ordered sim cards and received, followed instructions and installed sim cards. Nothing worked, got on chat an was told our numbers were not being released, called verizon and they said they were ported. We almost lost our numbers because xfinity mobile has uneducated that dont know what they are doing. Stay away from these people. We were never called to see what happened, its like no big deal.

Like many other big companies, the customer service, if you can call it that, happens in other countries, so it's difficult to understand the people and they put you on hold while they "chat" with whomever actually does things, and you can't talk directly, so it can take hours, literally, and often several calls to get issues resolved. It's not good at all. As long as you don't have to talk with anyone, the phones are fine as they use Verizon's network, but if you need human help, good luck!
