Xfinity should stick to cable
Xfinity should stick to cable. They have unreliable service, incompetent customer service reps, impossible to get any one with any authority on the phone. They have no problem inconveniencing their customer and take no accountably. I called to discuss the extra charges on my account which equated 180, and get a refund. While I was discussing that with the rep he did something that caused my phone line to be cancelled. I called for three days and was given one excuse after another. 3 days later they tell me that a hold has been put on my phone so it will be 5 to 7 business days before they can restore my number. In today's society everything is tied to your primary number, so it is a major inconvenience to be with out number for that long. Apparently, the rep who cancelled my number put in some sort of ticket and no body at Xfinity could do anything about it. They offered me a new number I declined because I just wanted my original money back. But after further though on the fourth day I requested a new number so that I could at least start changing my number in all my systems and not have to keep dealing with the incompetence. I will also mention that I asked to speak with a manger several times and was put on terminal hold each time. Now, they tell me they can't give me a new number until the 7 days are up at which time they are supposed to recover my original number. Garbage, they can't handle the cell phone service they need to let it go instead of taking people hard earned money and delivering sub par service. It's a shame and there's nothing you can do about it but take it which is the real pathetic, any other business of you weren't getting the service you are paying for you have other recourses of action. There should be some accountably! I shouldn't have to pay for service I'm not getting and for mistakes the company made and can't fix.
