Wyndham WorldwideReviews of wyndhamworldwide.com

Well things were great as a platinum member until last night I came to book a room and get bombarded for 25 minutes on security Questions over and over and over you think I was trying to rent a room at a military base mind you I gave up my name phone number address platinum ID number last place I stayed and yet it wasn't enough it got so bad that I almost missed my flight trying to book a room I ended up hanging up and not getting anywhere. now I'm staying at the Hyatt on my own dollar when I have over a 100000 points as a platinum member with Wyndham thanks for nothing.

While walking around in Las Vegas my wife & I were approached by a salesman who offered us free lunch and tickets to a Vegas show in exchange for attending a 1-hour presentation. That turned out to be untrue, as we spent at least 6 hours being berated by 4 different salesmen. It was not until they offered to open a cc to pay for the timeshare that I learned I had a credit freeze. The only way to remove this was to go back to the hotel where my personal computer was to retrieve my password as I could not remember it. They had a Wyndham salesman walk us all the way to our room. At the time it was just odd but now I see what a red flag that was. They did not trust us enough to come back. After the purchase I was surprised by a lot that was not disclosed to me at the time of signing. I had no idea that even after it was paid in full, I would still have to pay a monthly fee FOR LIFE! They told us this could be passed down to our kids but never the fact that they would inherit any sort of fees. In any way that Wyndham can deceive & disappoint, they will. Stay away from this timeshare trap!

Stay away from Wyndham ! Don't ever buy anything with Wyndham, or even attend their presentation !! We already had a great Kawai resort in Hawai for many years and were very happy . We went for a presentation just to learn about RCI because we are having Inventory issues since they changed the system. They told us that Wyndham manages our resort , they offered to convert to get great benefits and deeded points to have a great Wyndham Gold status VIP . They rushed us to charge our credit cards and made us sign and leave. I kept calling because our account became active only after 45 days so I could't even verify. By the time I found out that it was completely opposite on the paper than what it was presented it was too late for our Rescission period to cancel. They never mention how many days we have to cancel. Our resort was not converted and sold us something else than it was offered. As soon as I found out I called , tried to cancel but they are trained to not allow you. They didn't want to and they didn't care what happend. Even when I explained that it was Misrepresentation and they mislead ; still didn't care as long as they got you in and got your money. At the presentation I was told that if you don't like it you can get out very easy. Don't believe that ! Everything is a lie. Now , I have to get an Attorney to look into the case for Misrepresentation ! Please let me know if you had similar experience, maybe we can all get together and fight it and also not allow others to become victims of Misrepresentation. Don't every trust them!! Run ......... when you hear Wyndham !!!! Please call me at 678-787-5584

Two weeks ago I stayed at Ramanda by Wyndham Arcata (CA). The hotel was run down and filthy. My room stunk of cigarettes and was dirty. I left first thing in the morning. When I got home I checked my credit card bill and found that I had been charged an additional $20 for pet hair. I DO NOT OWN A PET. When I called the property manager, Sage, he said there was nothing he could do and hung up on me. This has got to be one of the worst hotels out there. Avoid at all cost!

IF YOU GO TO A WORLDMARK TIMESHARE PRESENTATION, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED! This company will bait you with a “free gift” to attend a 30-minute presentation that will actually be 3 or more hours of mentally draining and high-pressure sales pitches. Each vacation you take will be interrupted by what they will describe as an informational meeting to update you on all the new benefits you will receive as an owner. These meetings are actually new opportunities for their sales staff to upgrade you with more points. I was LIED TO AND MISLED every step of the way! I was made to believe I was a part of some super exclusive vacation club that would allow me to book all the vacations my heart desired, to later discover that it was a MONEY PIT that was costing more money than the benefits I was receiving. I can never find availability that fits my schedule, unless I wanted to go to Phoenix, AZ in the middle of July when its 115 degrees. They give you all this information and then only give you a very small window of time to cancel. It’s all a part of a scam to get you in and get you stuck in a contract forever.

Calling All Roaches it looks like your family member is at this hotel. My daughters and I stayed at this dirty hotel named Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Bloomington located at 1 Lyon Court Bloomington IL. We checked on 6/26/21 for two nights. When we checked into room number 315 the bathroom was not clean and that included a dirty tub and mold in the toilets. Dirty towels, so I requested a second room 305 and that room was less dirty then the room before. Still had a molded dirty towel and a wet used towel hanging on the shower. I did go down to the lobby where the staff came up with me to see the dirty toilet and give me clean towels. He saw the dirt in the room and the only thing he can say is that we have a staff shortage. Because we were there for a pageant the next day we were gone from the room all day on 6/27/21 no one came in to give us a clean towel nor to clean the room. When we got back to the room being a total trier we wanted to microwave some food that we had in the fridge and my daughter opened up the microwave door and a roach crawled out. We just stay and my kids sleep with their clothes on if you want to call it sleeping due to the fact that they were scared to death of a roach crawling on them. When I checked out and told them of my daughters and my experiences all the staff had to say is sorry. I called Wyndham corporate office and they told me I would need to wait 10 days for the hotel to respond because I don’t think I should have to pay for a dirty hotel room, dirty towel, dirty bathroom and roaches. I don’t have any of this in my own house and yet this hotel wants people to pay for that. Corporations refuse to reimburse me and offer me points. I don’t want points for another stay at their dirty hotel. I simply want my money back and to let future guests know if you like dirty, filth and roaches then this is the place to be. I did tell the corporation that I was going to write this review and they did not care at all. So Great customer service, I think not. So stay at your own risk!

I had never stayed at Wyndham before but decided to try it when I went to Ft. Wayne. Tried their suites because I wanted a small kitchen and a larger desk. I needed a different desk chair and the people at the front desk made sure I got it right away. The price was fair. The breakfast bags were ok although I like the way breakfast was served before and I do realize why they did it.

Nothing that we have been told by WorldMark has been true! When we made this purchase, we were told that this was an investment that would continue to increase in value, that the resorts were for the exclusive use of owners, that we would have no issues with booking locations we were interested in visiting, that the maintenance fees would remain low, and that we would be able to easily transfer our points to RCI if there was ever somewhere we wanted to visit outside of where WorldMark had resorts. We have come to learn that these resorts are available to anyone, which has caused us to never be able get a reservation as “exclusive owners”! Once Wyndham took over, the situation went from bad to worse. Now our maintenance fees increase yearly with no end in sight. My mother and I are on the loan together, yet they continually allow her to make purchases without my knowledge or consent. This company is terrible, and I believe that they have continuously taken advantage of my mother due to her age, which is considered elder abuse. Do not trust Wyndham or Worldmark!
