Dear Customer, Thank you very much for your review and feedback. When you find the lid latch of the B1 to be relatively tight, simply pushing or pulling the green button usually will not open it. Please place your four fingers on the green area, pinch it firmly downward, and then gently lift the lid upward. This will allow you to open it smoothly and remove the filter.
