Absolute fraud company. How is possible they're billing vague fees, for nothing since I canceled the contract one month before! Trash quality made me say good bye to the company and now they just want to steal every possible dollar.

Terrible service and quality. They also charge a fee and taxes that they didn't tell me about when I contracted their service.

WOW has an auto-renewal clause that locks customers into another year without clear notice. was charged a $168 early termination fee, despite canceling just days before the renewal. The user: Returned all equipment. Submitted a formal cancellation request (including a signed addendum). Received verbal confirmation over the phone that the account was closed. At no point was the termination fee mentioned. The charge was unexpected and not communicated until the final bill. Customer support provided no explanation and was unhelpful. The user describes the experience as a trap and urges others to carefully read all clauses before signing.

Unfair Billing & Poor Communication – A Heads-Up for Consumers Watch out: WOW includes an auto-renewal clause in its contracts that can lock you into another year without clear or timely notice. After waiting a full year to cancel, I was surprised with a $168 early termination fee, even though I cancelled just a few days before the renewal date. When I contacted WOW to cancel, I was told everything was good to go. I returned all the equipment, submitted a signed cancellation request, and confirmed over the phone that my account was officially closed. Not once was an early termination fee mentioned. The bill I received afterward felt like a trap. There was no prior warning about the charges, and customer service offered no real explanation—just the fee, take it or leave it. I won’t be returning to WOW, and I strongly encourage others to read every word of the contract before signing. Don’t expect them to point out the parts that could cost you—it’s up to you to protect yourself.
