They refuse to give me my money back. They are refusing withdrawals! They are very dishonest!

I've been a Worthy customer since 2020 and was initially pleased with the high interest rates they offered. However, when I recently tried to withdraw my funds, they were unable to return the entire amount and only gave me back my principal. They sent an email stating that due to the current illiquidity of their portfolio, they must delay the redemption of my bonds. They cited the pandemic and supply chain issues as reasons for some of their borrowers' inability to meet their repayment obligations. When I followed up asking where the rest of my money was, they said they were unable to provide an ETA and that they were exploring alternative financing options. I am frustrated and disappointed by this situation. It is not my problem if their borrowers are defaulting. As they advertise their funds to be liquid, I should be able to withdraw my entire savings with them at will and when I need it. Now, I am stuck and unable to execute on certain plans because they are withholding the money that is rightfully mine. If I were to consider that money a "lost cause," then I invested my principal with them for 3+ years with $0 return. This is unfair and unacceptable. I would caution anyone considering investing with Worthy!

Worthy really prides itself on helping others invest and save.

BEWARE. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM LIKE I DID. They promise that you can pull your money out whenever you want to, and then when you try, they say you can't. You complain and they send you a form letter, which basically says, get bent. They continue to advertise that you can take your money out when you want, but then come up with a ton of BS reasons why you can't get your money. I have been requesting and getting denied for over a year now. Don't give you money to this company. Full of misrepresentation and in my opinion fraud. This isn't even a risky investment. This is a charity. You will never see your money that you give them. All you will see is your balance, year after year that you will never get back.

I have 50k in Worthy bonds for 3 years and they cant pay back my money. I am ticked!

Like others have said, I invested in Worthy's first offering and now withdrawals are paused. I may lose 10K. Be careful investing with Worthy, your money is not insured.

2.5 stars: WRT withdrawals from 1st two bond offerings (as mentioned in other posts here), from what I have read they are paying "as able" loosely based on maturity date. That said, however, they stated they are still looking into financing options, as that will be the only way they can cover w/drawals for the 1st two offerings. The shortfall is based on companies defaulting on them with main issue cited as pandemic/supply chain and resulting bankruptcies. If you are inclined, search out Reddit posts as well.
