Not at all what I expected, don't be as gullible as I was.
They say free 7 day trial. After signing up you find out it is 7 days but only 7 lookups. The lookups were from 2014, 2011 etc. of no use to me. I tried to cancel online. Their directions to cancel online did not work so I opted to contact them via email and told them I wanted to cancel my trial. That didn't work so I finally called them. I am being refunded 1 month but since I expected that first charge to be reversed and I finally had to call to cancel I am out 1 month's fee of not even using my free 7. I think it is a scam hoping you are too busy to keep checking email etc. I should have called immediately, so I'm the sucker.

Hello Vickie,
Thank you for your review. We’re sorry that you didn’t have a better experience with us. We found that your account is associated with a subscription that was created on 6/18/21. The free trial is associated with all subscriptions. It is 7 lookups or 7 days, whichever comes first. When a user subscribes to WorthPoint, they receive a “Welcome to WorthPoint” email that outlines the free trial (7 lookups or 7 days), billing, and how to update or cancel your subscription. The email was sent on 6/18/21. The Welcome email also highlights that in order to avoid charges, a user must cancel before the trial is complete. We understand that confusion can happen, and provided a one time courtesy refund and cancelled the subscription via our call with you. We apologize for any inconvenience and we are always available if you would like to speak with us.

No Notification of Monthly Charges
I signed up for Worthpoint.com for a free trial offer. Unfortunately, I did not receive any notification when the paid subscription began. I have subscribed to several sites that offered a free trial offer but they all sent an e-mail notification when the paid subscription was to begin. Worthpoint began charging my credit card as soon as the trial period was over without providing any notification.
Response from WorthpointAug 12, 2021
Hello Joe,
Thank you for leaving us a review. We’re sorry that you did not have a better experience with us. We see that you signed up for the free trial, which is 7 lookups or 7 days whichever comes first, on 04/25/2021. Once users subscribe, they receive a “Welcome to WorthPoint” email which outlines the guidelines of the free trial, cancellation options, subscription information, as well as our contact information. We see that your welcome email was sent on 04/25/21. Within the welcome email, users are also encouraged to cancel before the free trial is complete, otherwise the subscription will start. The trial was over on 5/2/21, and the monthly charges began until the subscription was cancelled on 08/05/21.
Our policy is to provide invoices upon request. However we understand that confusion can happen, and we have provided a one time refund for your troubles. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns.

I love Worthpoint
I love Worthpoint! We are trying to simplify our lives by getting rid of clutter—things we don’t need, want, or use. We are selling some of our stuff and it is so helpful to find out a reasonable price would be. Thank you for this great service!

Concern over trying to charge me
I enjoyed your website and found it useful but am concerned that it is trying to charge me for a subscription after I believe I was careful not to use the free trial more than the allotted seven times, and cancelled shortly afterwards. No money has been lost yet, but it has attempted the transaction several times. It may be that I was careless in my attempt to use the free trial, but I am hoping this can be resolved, in which case I have no complaints and enjoyed the site.
Response from WorthpointJul 30, 2021
Hi Sam,
We’re glad that you enjoyed your experience with WorthPoint, and regret that there was some confusion at the end of your trial. The free trial associated with your account was started on 7/12/21, and ended 7 days later on 7/19/21. Our free trials are 7 lookups or 7 days, before the subscription becomes active. The subscription was cancelled on 7/21/21, which is why there were some attempts at charging. We’ve cleared it up and stopped any further attempts. We hope that this clears things up for you and please know we’re always here to help if you need us.

I joined under the 7 day free trial
I joined under the 7 day free trial, cancelled that very day and I have still been charged. I think its disgusting that you have done that. How can you charge someone for a free trial. I would like that money put back into my account.
Response from WorthpointJul 23, 2021
Hello Michelle,
We appreciate your review and understand your alarm. We’re sorry that you did not have a great experience with us. After investigating your case, we see that you registered for the free trial (7 look ups or 7 days) with the email address s************@g****l.com on 7/16/21, and the paid subscription was manually activated on 7/16/21. We understand that was not your intention, so we have provided a full refund on 07/19/21. We apologize for the confusion, and please know we are always here to help if you have any other questions.
