Worldmark is a scam and a terribly ran corporation. Their motto is profits before people. The new website is clunky and terrible. It was probably designed by grade schoolers. The ever increasing maintenance dues are ridiculous. Mine are to almost $1400.00 per year for 15,000 credits. It's almost impossible to get into a property, but why wouldn't it be when you have over 200,000 owners and 7,000 units. I've been an owner for more than 20 years and when it was Worldmark it was great, since Wyndam took over it's the worst. I like to travel and Wyndam has left such a bad taste that I won't even use their other properties. Save your money for what this corporation charges you can go a really nice vacation without getting scammed! Do your research there isn't one website that gives them over a 1* star review, that alone speaks volumes!

I have been an owner of worldmark since 1994, I bought in well before Wyndham got involved and I use to love worldmark, but now I can't stand it. Wyndham has destroyed the vacation club that I loved when I first bought in. I sincerely hope that someone with a great lawyer files a class action lawsuit against them, I will definitely put my name in

After being insulted, more than one time .. they started in on my daughter. Worst 3 hours of my life. And then being told they were going to give me best deal ever.. Would you take it if it was free... NO.. I would never.. and if I can help it, I will NEVER stay at a Wyndham property.. and the kicker, THEY somehow opened credit card account.. there was no mention of any credit card during the torture session.. I was suckered in. One time... never again.. and I'm letting everyon I know not to fall for this scam.. September 14, 2022 is date

One more complaint about the new website. Terrible! We booked multiple units at Bass Lake for next June for a family vacation. System cancelled 3 of them. Called customer service and they said we made a mistake. However we did exactly what the website required at the time and we even had confirmation printed up for them. Of course they were no longer available. There only suggestion was to get on the wait list or cancel the remaining reservation and book somewhere else. And how about the profiteering of requiring a fee for our family members to accompany us? I have a lot of credits and pay quite a bit already every month. Since Wyndam became involved it is just one money grab after another. And does anyone else remember the big announcement in the magazine a few years back about the new Worldmark resort planned for Galveston that ended up opening as a Wyndham Resort? How much of our money went into that project? As an owner I am a bit tired of being treated like I am just another hotel guest! By the way don't bother having them switch you to the owner complaint folks. They can't really do anything but apologize again and tell you "but that is just how it goes". My whole summer plan for next year wrecked and " oh well sorry about that"! If you actually read this at Worldmark how about a " History " on the website? It would really be nice to be able to go back and look at previous reservations and charges if something goes awry. I can go on Costco, Amazon, etc. and look up every transaction for years.

I feel WorldMark by Wyndham is a scam. You can't get a hold of anyone on the phone unless you have hours to spare. We are unable to get into our account and nobody would call us back. The maintenance fee is monthly, we definitely did not know about this. Keep your money, you can go on vacation for a lot less money than this company will rip you off for. Disgusting company.

Worldmark downward spiral after Wyndham takeover We have been Worldmark by Wyndham timeshare owners for many years and since Worldmark was bought out by Wyndham, Worldmark has steadily been on a downward spiral from one of the best timeshares to poor. Two events will show the extent.. 1. Wyndham has effectively cut off all private resale of Worldmark by delaying their signing/approval of the sellers'/Wyndham's contract to make the sale unappealing to the prospective buyer. It doesn't take months to accomplish this - this is a ploy by Wyndham to maximize profits by destroying the resale market. Check out how many of the reputable resellers are still operating. Here's a posting from one of the longstanding reputable resale firms: MPORTANT NOTE: The entire title transfer process takes approximately 6 to 8 months to finalize depending on WorldMark's Transfer Department workload. Turnaround times are subject to change due to WorldMark’s current workload, and always without notice. We process everything the same day, however everything we do is dependent on WorldMark. In the meantime, we must be patient and abide by WorldMark’s policies and procedures in order to get this done. How WorldMark operates is completely out of our control. You're welcome to call WorldMark's Transfer Department at 800-537-6497 for additional information. 2. A 'new and improved' website introduced on April 15 2022 has made it almost impossible to have any faith in the reservation system. It takes much longer than the reliable older Worldmark software and it is cumbersome to navigate efficiently especially when trying to reserve a popular resort during high season. At first it was difficult to know whether it was imcompetence (of their computer programmers) or fraud - It has been 3.5 months and no meaningful changes so coming to the right conclusion shouldn't be too difficult. It would take a normal reputable company days/weeks to fix the obvious glitches that have been reported and complained about but they obviously have no intent to improve. By doing this Wyndham are able to distribute more of the vacancies to websites like vrbo, rci etc where they make more sales revenue and keep the existing membership paying the costs of operation (from maintenance fees). ....disgusting to this early Worldmark owner.

This is what I think of WorldMark by Wyndham!!!! The new website that was rolled out several months ago is way beyond awful and totally unusable in comparison to the awesome site we had before. And then to top everything off it has not worked for me for over 6 days now. Every thing I have had to do with my account had to be handled with calls to Owner Resolutions. That included making a reservation, adding a guest name and setting up a credit transfer (by the way the online credit transfer does not work). When will you the board for Worldmark realize, we owners are the most important part of Worldmark The Club????

I wish there was a NO STAR rating.. If you ever come in contact with any of their agents, please do not give them a chance to talk to you at all. They'll tell you its not a timeshare but it's a lie, it's even worse. They signed me up, and told me I couldn't cancel when I had a rethink. The agents claim they only know how to sign you up, but can't advise you on how to cancel. Thankfully I was eventually able to get myself off the hook. I have to wait for my credit to heal now, after they messed it up trying to open multiple credit accounts with my information. My advise to everyone, RUN from this SCAM
