Very poor user experience. I am a job seeker and spend most of my time changing passwords for companies that use Workday, to the point, I stopped applying to companies that utilize this platform. I'm not sure why my browser cannot distinguish that each site is a different company, but it seems to be a fatal flaw. Additionally, the extensive identity questioning is daunting, exhausting and intrusive prior to meeting an actual human. I understand it's in place to deter discrimination but I can't help but feel slightly discriminated against everytime I fill it out. I'm half Armenian/half German, my mom was born in Iran and I'm first generation but to check WHITE, over and over again really doesn't feel like it tells my story. Also the sexual preference questioning is appalling. Unless I'm applying for a role as a porn star, how is this line of questioning relevant to anything work-related? I hope I'm in a position to choose HR software for a company one day and will never forget the daily turmoil of working with Workday from a user perspective.

Workday has the most counterintuitive interface I’ve seen since the early 1990’es. Nothing makes sense, nothing is evident - neither for the employees nor the managers. If you ask HR staff about the system, there is always a deep sigh before they start excusing how poor it is. So why do big companies buy this? Because it does ONE thing well: It allows HR to create checklists and stats to paint a misleading picture of HR efficiency to C level management. It neither helps no one else in any way, shape or form. If you see a company using Workday, run. The use of Workday tells you that their HR is not about the employees (which is already a warning) and if senior management either don’t know or don’t care about that, it’s not a good place to work.

Glad I'm not using workday any more now I've moved company. It's sort of ok software but such a beast and tries to do to much, the more modern best in class point solutions (lever/bamboo/workable + lattice/smallimprovements + humaans/hibob/personio + pento) are much better and the integrations mean it's not painful having lots of point solutions any more. One saving grace is Peakon which is genuinely excellent

This is by far THE WORST platform in this field. It has come to a point that I simply refuse to submit an application if the company is using them to accept them. This is a huge red flag as it demonstrates how poor their judgement on important matters is. Why can't a candidate create one profile for every company they apply to? Why can the candidate JUST APPLY without having to REGISTER AN ACCOUNT and then adding all the information one by one since your scanner is not really scanning a resume well. Why when I say that a certain language is my NATIVE do I have to select one by one that I speak, write and understand very well in it? isn't saying that it's a native language enough? Absolutely terrible, lazy design. Employers, for the love of God, unless you actively hate your candidates, don't work with them please. think about all the good candidates you might lose? You will ONLY get desperate applications all the good ones will be applying to different places. Thanks

Utter rubbish, more layers of needless security than my banking apps, and a nightmare if you forget the password, why no fingerprint access from the phone app, simply awful

This app is garbage! I will get with my HR and let them know, I'm sure they already do as everyone I work with hates it just as much as I do. My app quit working and of course nobody at workday can help. Garbage company
