I finally received my beautiful Nova large duffel after a long and frustrating experience. I ordered it on May 6th as I needed it for two upcoming work trips and was told that I would have it in advance. I was extremely frustrated that after MUCH back and forth, I finally received it on June 25, long after my work trips. However, to their credit, Zander from customer care was in close touch, always responsive, and offered me a small discount. The bag is beautifully made and well designed, although as a vegetarian, I wanted the canvas version, which wasn't in stock, and I feel very conflicted about having the leather version. I used it on a recent work/leisure weekend getaway, and it carried everything and was easy to use. The leather is very durable, but as a result, it's pretty heavy.

months ago I placed an order with Wool & Oak and have been extremely disappointed with the entire process. I ordered a novo bag with packing cubes, but only the cubes arrived. When complaining I was offered a replacement bag which I accepted. Despite initial and repeated assurances that my order would ship promptly, I have experienced significant delays and a lack of transparency. After multiple follow-ups, I was informed that there were issues with the shipping provider, which I can understand to some extent. However, the lack of proactive communication and the repeated promises that my order would ship "in a few more days" have been frustrating. I was eventually offered the option to switch to a different product that was supposedly available for immediate shipment. I confirmed my preference and received confirmation that my order had been updated, but I still have not received any shipping information. Finally a concrete shipping day was promised. But 10 and 11 of june came and went, still no nova bag was sent. Overall, my experience with Wool & Oak has been disappointing. The lack of concrete communication and the delays and the potential use of ai in customer service have left me feeling misled and frustrated. I hope that Wool & Oak can improve their customer service and communication processes to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. Still waiting for a shipment announcement, perhaps it will never come, but in a few weeks i will try to get my money back if there is no response from wool and oak. And please not another: your bag is getting the finishing touches and will be shipped soon. Update 29 july. The most amazing thing happend: i finally got my duffel!! The duffel feels sturdy and the quality good. I cant wait to use it. A big thanks to Zander from customer service for making it happen (sorry for taking you for a bot) I stand by my dissatisfaction about the communication about availability and timelines from wool and oak throughout, but it would be unfair to blame individuals in customer service which did thier best with the information available im sure. Because the product feels solid and high quality and because customer service actually was there for me in the end i change my review from one star to three. Time to test the duffel in my upcoming travels

Purchased this fall off 2024. Previously used a Briggs and Riley duffle suitor and lived the idea of covering to a roller especially for boarding and times when I'm wearing a suit and don't want to wrinkle or stress the material. Feature-wise it checks the boxes. Drawbacks that make it annoying- the suit compartment is tight, while the neck is bigger than my b&r I cannot fit as many suits and shirts (Max probably 2 in w&o with shirts, I can go higher in b&r). My biggest issue are all the zippers to close the main compartment. 3 is too much especially since the top zipper requires lining up the ends. B&r engineered with one zipper to release the major compartment, and w&o requires 3. This makes it difficult to open and close quickly. Additionally if you open the entire compartment will flop open since the structure can only be opened wide by opening all 3.

Terrible shipping and follow ups on where bag is after ordering!!! Took me 30 days to receive-- Not 10 days as they claim!! Never answered emails until days after! Product is great but customer service Terrifying! Buyer beware--

Buyers from the UK beware! The bag although expensive, arrived on time and is exactly what I was expecting. I would give the product 4-5 stars out of 5 so far. What I wasn't expecting, was £150 import duty bill on top of the already pricey outlay. If I'd have known this before, then I would not have purchased.

I'm still waiting for the bag. The 3stars represent the hope I have in the product. What I heard of people who received the bag it is as promised. BUT I can only agree with some people that W&O wasn't really responsive. Think backers all have high hopes and expectations otherwise they would not backed the project. And everyone do understand delay. But please be more responsive to people who backed the project. Endless repeat why it was delayed and not give more transparency isn't customer friendly. Again my hope went from super high to deep low. But now I do hear people's reaction on the bag I get some hope and hope my 3stars expectation will be exceeded.. After the response of W&O below I had to reduce to 2 stars. This response is exactly what I and others mean. Ehh duh I know it it preorder and I don't mind delay. But some transparency lacks every time they respond. So dear W&O don't reply with such meaningless responses like it will be shipped soon. After all this time you should be able to give more precise information when. It are only 3000 bags /orders from backers. All people that believe in the product. So I hope I get the bag soon and let the bag speak for the product. All you do hear is making clear you really don't understand customer service. You know I asked you more than once friendly by mail and you failed to answer every time. My rating is not about the bag, not about the delay only about your below par communication. Added remark What a great answer of W&O.... Finally a sprankle of hope below. Again it is not about the bag.. I will leave a review on that when I get it. I m really glad with the news. Now I got the news it is on its way. It is so easy and simple to communicate and manage expectations. Hope sincerely that you learn from the overall ratings here and on Kickstarter. But because my trust I you as a producer of great bags and I believe you do understand that you asked a lot from your backers. I sincerely hope you will continuously improve your transparency and communication there is a (Dutch) saying ; Trust comes on foot and goes on horseback. When I receive the bag it is all water under the bridge. So I added a star again

So I ordered my bag in November. Had all the same issues as everyone else. I emailed custom service on Thursday (for the second time). They promptly responded and informed me my bag was about to ship. I received it today (Sunday of the same week). It’s as nice as I thought it would be. I actually think these guys had manufacture or shipping issues. So I don’t think they are a scam, just struggling as a new company. And, no I don’t work for them and I’m not a robot.

Tatsächlich wurden die Taschen im Mai nun geliefert und bei zwei Taschen hatte ich dann noch 250€ Zoll direkt an der Haustür zu bezahlen, sollte man bedenken bei dem Kauf. Die Ware ist tatsächlich eine sehr gute Qualität! Aber trotzdem war die Kommunikation mit dem Unternehmen eine Katastrophe. Daher das Material der Tasche, die Verarbeitung würden von mir 5 Sterne bekommen, Aufgrund des Umgangs mit der ganzen Situation sind es nun 3 Stern.
