I own the Wool & Oak Carry-On 3-in-1 bag and the Large Nova bag. This isn’t a paid review. To start, I read the 1 star reviews…I assure you the bags are real and high quality. The zippers are stiff yes, but the company has assured they will be smoother with use. If you have ever bought or held a new leather baseball glove, you know you have to use it and break it in before it’s perfect—I’m sure these bags are like that. Why? Because this company has put forth the R&D in the initial design. Everyone claiming other bags exist with this design…they did not to this extent with this quality until after Johnathan and Wool & Oak started putting out their design and videos. Yes, this took over 12 months to receive after initially backing it, but that’s typical Kickstarter experience for me. I backed a product once that took almost 2 years to receive due to production issues. Wool & Oak, a shipping container was seized and pictures to prove it were shared. I was frustrated as could be in the wait, but so was Johnathan and his team I’m sure. I stuck with it and remained patient because I wanted to back and support the R&D and the quality. My 3-in-1 bag arrived which to me was proof of quality of the Nova. Customer support has always replied, within 2 days and I sent about 6 or 7 inquiries. And when my Nova bag arrived, one of my add-ons, the small compression cube set did not arrive. I emailed and no questions asked, within 2 days a shipment was sent out. I knocked 1 star off of 5, because I do wish there was more communication throughout the 12 month wait, but the company and the bags are real and high quality.

I've received my bag and cubes, and it appears as advertised throughout the campaign. This was my first Kickstarter for a very long time, and I was happy with waiting... to a point... The company then experienced a series of delays which I'd draw up as pretty unfortunate. Yes, they could have communicated better at times and at two points I forgot I had ordered this altogether and forgot to check in because the time between updates was so long but it has ultimately got there in the end. Once the shipment was released to W&O I received it pretty quickly all the way in New Zealand via FedEx.

Similar to others here, I pledged early for a large leather Nova bag on Kickstarter in July 2023. It got funded in August, which is when I made the full payment. It is now the end of July 2024, so 1 year and no bag. There have been updates regarding the first shipment being held in customs. However, two weeks ago, this shipment was released to Wool and Oak. They were supposed to ship them the following week. After that week was up, I reached out to them to inquire about my order. Radio silence. It looks like some people have received their bags and are happy, but a successful business should follow through on every order. I will update if and when I hear from them. *Update: I received my large leather Nova bag this evening (8/8/24). It is a beautiful bag and well designed. Although I have yet to use it, I am pleased with the purchase. I have updated my review to 4 stars. The reason that it didn't get the 5th star is the unbelievably long delay in shipping the bag. The company needs to improve its logistics and customer service. If it can do this half as well as they design products, it will be successful.

I have ordered on 18.February 2024 a bag. Since than: dead calm. Just received 2 emails saying they have delivery problems. Since I paied already I feel betrayed. So my advice is: hands-off of the company. I will also write on Facebook / Insta my superbad experience. To be honest: I was in the believe that using Trustpilot filters such unreliable and miserable dealers. Annex 23.07.24: after this review I got the answer that this week 30 the bag will be shipped. Jonathan from Wool & Oak wrote this. Let‘s see if we can trust Mr.Jonathan. My expectation is rather low. Update 25.07.24: Seems that Jonathan has kept his word. I have received a FedEx Shipping advice - the bag shall arrive at 31.07.24. The first time good news. If the bag‘s quality and functionality is excellent (as promoted), I will write here and may adjust the rating. At least: thank you Jonathan 🙏🏻 Update 20.08.24: Material received. Material (Leather) seems to be of high quality. Zipper okeish. At least it has all the features as promised. Will now travel and use it a lot to test. Rating will be adjusted to 4 points now.

don't know why- but in the end 9 month is lots of time . but it is only 5 - we was suppose to receive on Jan . got on June but it is here. and it look like a very nice one to travel for 4-5 days . (most of my travel ). i will return next year to say after several times - who it was :) many thanks!!

My small NOVA bag via Kickstarter arrived today and I’m pleased to say the quality and design is superb throughout - it looks great in the chocolate leather and has a nice premium feel. The clever design with multiple pockets maximises storage space not only for clothes but other accessories such as my Mac laptop, workbooks, glasses and running shoes. Look forward to using it on my next flight, having deliberately chosen the smaller under seat bag as my regular airline often puts cabin bags in the hold which delays a speedy airport departure when landing. The only thing stopping a full 5 star rating was the 4 month delay against the original delivery timelines. However that’s to be expected with Kickstarter projects (every one I’ve backed has always over run), but worth the wait given how great the product is.

I just got my Nova bag here in Canada. I truly love this bag, it's of amazing quality and the features are second to none. I love the shoe laundry compartment, it's pure genius! I love all the zippers and all the easy access compartments. The only issue I have is the $207 I had to pay to FedEx! I wish next time they would just use regular post with tracking.

I placed my original order on August 7, 2023. Like a lot of the reviews recently I also received similar emails regarding the delays with typhoons, customs etc....and was thinking that this was a scam. Much to my surprise I received a message last week saying my Nova bag (small) had shipped with Fedex. I'm currently living in the Philippines and tracked it from LA to here and I am happy to say it arrived today. (Side note: if you don't live in the US make sure you have money for the duties and taxes, it's 40% of the bag value in the Philippines!) It is as advertised, gorgeous bag just as shown. Solid leather, excellent quality and I'll take it in my first travel next week and see how it goes. Can safely say not a scam, took a long time but so far worth the wait. Might need some accessories now!
