My first visit could not have gone any better. The staff and doctors at WLIA are awesome. Much more then i expected .

I was looking for a bariatric surgeon to help me with my weight-loss journey. I went to WLIA because I felt it was the best choice for me. My doctor, Dr. John DeBarros, has been great; but the reason I gave four stars and not five is because I was never informed of all of my options. I underwent the lap-band, but had to have it removed after 11 months due to complications from it. I became aware of all of my options the day of my surgery when I had the lap-band inserted. Not the right time to find out! Anyway, now I know the other options available to me and I'm trying to decide if I want to go further. The staff, nurses and all the doctors have been very good to me; but if anyone is considering weight-loss surgery, do all your research and ask questions, questions, questions. I know it's partly my fault for not having all the information, but I believe it's their job to help me with some of it, too, especially since that's what they do!

Dr. Orris and his team are awesome. They work really hard to get you ready for surgery and the support is above and beyond from the nurses, dietitians, finance and of course Dr. Orris. They are a very busy team and usually run a bit over the scheduled time, so always plan to stay a little longer than anticipated. They are worth the wait! They are also very professional and compassionate about your journey.

I have always felt safe and confident in the doctors and staff. I am very glad to have made the decision to take control of my weight and life with the help of WLIA. Thank you.

After researching the Lap-Band procedure for several years, I completed the entire pre-op process with a competitor who was not able to get me approved for the Lap-Band. So I tried to do the weight loss thing on my own YET AGAIN for almost a year. Then I saw a commercial for WLIA , and thought to give the process a try again, and all went so smooth, it was like I should have gone through WLIA all along. I am a couple months post surgery and so thankful for this life style change. WLIA said yes, when others did nothing.

have enjoyed every visit I have had there. Even when I am telling them I didn't do well this month on my diet that are kind and sympathetic and let me know that its ok, just keep trying.
