I had an egd done with Dr. Orris late last year, 2014. He told me that would include one fill after the procedure. I went in in November, 2014 and had the fill. No problems, no issues, no charge. It is now September 18th.... 2015... and I'm being billed $264.00 for said fill. I called up the office. I was transferred to Jennifer in the billing department. I explained the situation. She was nice and helpful, told me she'd research it and get back to me. She called me back and said, "you weren't charged for the visit. .. only the fill." I asked her for clarification. .. even though that's NOT what I was told during my egd and the following visit when I had my fill... In November. ...of 2014. She said yes... I'm sorry but there's nothing in writing. So... I provided my payment information over the phone and advised her I would write a review. Here it is. Almost a year later I'm being billed for something I was told there'd be no charge for. .. and when questioned about it... I'm told... oh you weren't billed for the visit. ... just the fill. ?? Wow....

I have been a patient of Dr DeBarros for 9 months now. Friendly, flexible, informative , caring and professional staff .Highly recommend WLIAZ ... Great Team

On July 21, 2014, I got the lapband placed, and since then I am no longer a diabetic. I have nothing to hide and nothing to be ashamed of. I am an advocate for anyone who has tried their hardest for something, but was never able to achieve that goal because of the way their body was made or how it works. The lapband is not an easy way out...I still have to eat healthy and work out to ensure success. I never wanted to be skinny, I just wanted to be healthy and this past year has guided me to a much healthier lifestyle that I am forever grateful for, thanks to the WLIA.

Dr. DeBarros and his staff are wonderful. They are very encouraging and positive. I would recommend Wliaz to anyone who is looking to lose weight. They are there with you through the whole process. Marlane

Dr. Debarros, my surgeon, speaks in real terms that are easily understood. He printed and hand delivered and action plan for me which included getting a mammogram. He spent a few minutes sharing a story which emphasized why I needed to get this done for my overall wellness. Im glad I did, the results of my mammogram came back identifying mass and Im now getting an MRI then biopsy to determine what it is. Had Dr. DeBarros not made it very clear on the expectation I may have put it off until the tale end of my program. Many thanks to them for not only expressing concern for weigh loss but my health in general. Chastity

When I first made the decision to do the lap band surgery, I was scared, I never had any surgeries done in my life. So I was a little hesitant I went to the orientation and got a better understanding of the procedure. When I left I knew this is what i wanted to do. I setup my appointment with Dr Orris/Dr DeBarros when one of them mention that one of their family members had gotten the surgery as well it gave me for confidence with my decision. My son and I had the lap band procedure done by Dr Orris 1 month apart in 2011. We've had fantastic results. I went from a size 18 to a size 9, and he's lost 75lb from 40 waist to 32!! The staff is very friendly and helpful with the insurance process, The procedure was easy and recovery was fast for us. But we took it easy as recommended by Dr Orris. We have not regretted making this decision one bit! Mike Murphy is awesome he gave us great nutrition advice and encouragement all through our journey.

I had The Lapband done is 2012 with Dr. Orris, the office and staff and especially Dr. Orris were Amazing, they helped to get my procedure covered and went above and beyond my expectations. Five months after my procedure I became pregnant, so Dr. Orris had to unfill my band, almost two years later, I came back to see him to start my fills again, and again, Everyone was nice, supportive and accommodating. They work with you, if your insurance doesn't pay for your fills, and are always available to answer any questions. I can't say enough about WLIA, I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking to weight loss surgery, they are honest, upfront, and I love Dr. Orris's directness!

Dr. Michael Orris is a great doctor, wish I could have him for a primary doctor. He very knowledgeable on anything I ask him. He always time with you when needed. I started at the beginning of the year and have all ready lost over 40 lbs. without much effort, only 10 more to go. His staff is great and works very well with Dr. Orris. Thanks for weight loss.
