Hectic is going places and I'm going with it! Hectic was referred to me by a client and I have tried many other similar platforms. I literally have moved and canceled so many accts and subscriptions because of being able to use one platform and have everything in one place with Hectic. Not to mention that the development team will PERSONALLY take the time to reach out to talk to you and ask you what you need and how to improve to help you! I have NEVER had an experienc such as I have had with hectic!

Hectic is a must have for freelancers. Its client management, project management, payment and contract management features make it easy to keep my freelance business organized and running smoothly. I use Hectic as a freelance writer. The only thing I would change is that there isn't a "per word" option for proposals and invoices, so invoices that include deliverables that are priced per word have to be calculated manually.

Hectic is a great tool that has allowed me to bring my task management, time-tracking, and invoicing under one roof (and get rid of a few other monthly services in the process). Customer service is superb too -- the team is extremely quick and knowledgeable. It seems there are new features every week too so there are good things to come.

Outstanding service. Inquiries were responded to immediately and steps were taken to address my needs. Beyond that excellent support, Hectic has reached out for feedback in ways to best improve and develop various aspects of their service. Wonderful to know that Hectic is being actively developed with freelancers specific needs in mind. Thank you so much. Looking forward to new and improved features!

I can't say enough about the team at Hectic. They are committed to creating a great one-stop dashboard for freelancers, and it shows. Anytime I've raised a question in chat, one of the founders is there in minutes asking questions and helping me figure out my issue. I've even seen them implement features and/or do things on the backend to get me the result I'm after in real time! The product itself is great and really affordable compared to competitors in the space and it keeps getting better!

While my review is 4 stars, I give the creators behind Hectic 5 stars for this brilliant effort. However, the platform needs several additions and changes before it's worthy of being paid for by freelancers like myself (just my humble opinion). For example, I feel like the features and options added to the project section are too few and too narrow in scope. If I was on the development team, I would suggest taking (some of) the most useful features from Asana and creating them in the project management section of Hectic. (I have a list that I can share via email with the Hectic team) The primary reason I decided to downgrade my subscription is the fact that in its current form, I'm still forced to use other tools alongside Hectic to stay on top of everything. Naturally, that begged the question, "Why am I paying for Hectic if I'm still having to use my old (free) box of tools?" I'm excited to see what the next upgrade will bring to the table for Hectic users. I'm hoping to become a long-term paying customer starting sometime next year.

Hectic has been very helpful - their live chat team is very responsive and addresses any concerns I have immediately, and have already added a feature that I asked about within a few weeks of me starting to use it. Very intuitive workflow and does everything I need it to do!

I really like all of the features together, especially the sales pipeline and calendar. It really lets you see where you are with each client. Time and expense tracking are very useful!
