The company is not easy to work with. They are fast to give you loan, but please don't get into a bind where you need to move a date. It is not possible; you will have to double up on payments. The only other options are to refinance and when doing that they will add on extra fees at a high rate, and you longer payments. Just another way to scam more money out of you. I took that bait, please don't, all help isn't good help.

Don't waste your time
It's been 9 days since I applied. Said I was approved for $446. Their bank verification isn't working on their end,They have hung up on me twice, never return my calls. Horrible way to do business. I see why they have a very low rating

AWEFUL LOYALTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
AWEFUL LOYALTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. WOW i have dealt with these people over 20 times over the last 3 years and always paid off my loans early. Same job making same money and only 1 late payment. Said they cannot lend to me. LOL What a joke. Customer service is a bot that always says no human available and when you call the phone number, you get disconnected after 3-5 minutes of holding. What a joke. I asked the human I finally got to see if I could talk to a manager and got a canned response. Extremely disappointing to say the least.

STAY AWAY FROM AVENAWISE UNLESS YOUR…
STAY AWAY FROM AVENAWISE UNLESS YOUR LOOKING FOR ADDED STRESS TO YOUR LIFE !!
I was considering when I received an email that I was preapproved for a loan from AvenaWise. Then I read AVENAWISE reviews, they all say STAY AWAY.
No matter whether it's a loan or purchase, you should ALWAYS read reviews, they say a lot.

Horrible Customer Service
I applied for a small loan. Received a text and an email to contact them. Have tried for 3 days and left multiple messages. Have not received one return phone call, text or email. When you call any one of there phone numbers you sit on hold and either get prompted to leave a message or cut off. I thought they were legit?

This so called company has the worst…
This so called company has the worst customer service. I've paid off my loan. Then they took an extra payment out. Now they are refusing to repay. I'm reporting them to the better business bureau. They should be closed

Why? Just why?
Well for starters, I received two emails that specifically said and I quote "Congratulations you have been approved!" Not pre-approved, approved. I do, understand very clearly, the distinction between, a pre-approval and an approval.
And just for some context my loan is a very low amount. Which is okay, because it would have covered, what I needed it to.
And then began the emails, requesting documents which, I very promptly, submitted. Despite, being at work while doing that. I have literally submitted identifying documents, and proof of residency documents, that the U.S Dept of Education accepted in order to approve my student loans. Which, they are a government agency who are lending me considerably more money than, this loan. And according to them my documents were sufficient proof.
Yet, every single one of those documents your company has rejected. And not just rejected but, also, started throwing in, a bunch of extra stipulations that, you didn't disclose to begin with.
It honestly feels at this point y'all are just making it up as you go. And if,you were really that skeptical or suspicious, I am not who I claim to be, or I don't live where I claim to live, you could have just denied me to begin with. But, no you approved me. Which I don't understand. An adverse action letter I can handle. But, this seemed a little cruel. Or,you are conducting some experiment, to see how many hoops, you can get someone to jump through before they give up.
I don't really have high expectations here that, I was approved or I will get the loan. In fact, right now I am awaiting the next email, which will most likely be another "nope not accepting that either."
This has seemed like an awful lot of work for such a small loan amount.
P.S You only earned that one star by default, I had to select at least one star to continue.
