My husband contacted them June of 2017…
My husband contacted them June of 2017 and we started making payments. once it was paid off we started the process August of 2017. we had been told it was done December 2017 (I think). We paid extra for a background check that said everything was clear. Feb 2018 my husband went to apply for a gun. He was denied. We called back and got told that the court had messed up some paperwork. We waited another 90 days to see if things would get better. we got told to pay ANOTHER 100 for a background check (interestingly the background check said all things where fine with his background when apparently they were not), We refused to pay another 100 for that. We waited until last week to go apply for another gun for him. AGAIN got told no. WHY pay for things that do not happen. The office is not answering calls and the lady that is handling his file is out of town.... Go figure. We have been working on this for almost 2 years and still have nothing resolved. After reading all of the bad reviews I am surprised that we are only into this for about $1200. We will NOT be paying anything else and will be getting a different attorney.
Response from WipeRecord, A Division of Eastman Meyler, PCSep 19, 2019
Our office correctly and fully completed the service. There was an error on the part of the court that was not within our control. This was explained to the client, which is not the person that wrote this review.
