The tool quality is normal but the service is poor.
The tool quality is normal. But the customer support and overall service is poor. In the website it's mentioned 30 day money-back guarantee which made me to buy a yearly subscription, yet within 30 days you can't cancel the subscription.
Why promise and lie? It's better be open and transparent with the users which will benefit both parties.

Don't buy this
Edit after refund:
After almost 30 days of testing and in my opinion, way to much unnecessary writing, due to lack of actually reading what I'm writing, I got another version of one of their programs as a test trial, which was able to handle the video, that I didn't needed anymore, as I had found another program to handle the task at hand.
My file was a 64gb MXF file, so you might want to try their VideoProc Converter and not WINXDVD for this size and filetype.
Trial version works, lifetime premium doesn't.
I tried the trial version for a 64gb project file, it seemed fine for the 5 minutes of limited trial conversion.
Ended up buying the lifetime premium stuff, and then it made green size bar on the 2 hour processing result, rendering it useless.
The 30 days money back guarantee , apparently doesn't cover this, unless you undergo extensive trouble shooting with the support team, for them to verify.
The refund was requested around 3 hours after purchase, as that was the time the processing of the file took and for me to find a replacement program.
Now I'm stuck in what seems like an endless communication, because they offer me 50% refund because it didn't work. So they are kind of accepting my terms, but don't want to make the refund.
I found Movavi to be able to handle my urgent project without problems, even thought it's a bit more expensive, it just get the job done and I bet if I where to use their customer service, it would actually have some service into it.

Hello Kristian,
We hold 30 day money back guarantee if our products cannot normally work with error or bug and we cannot solve it within an acceptable period of time. Our support team just tried to provide you tech support to solve your problem, we hope you can understand this.
And after we learned that the only video you have problem with was too large to send to us for testing, we promptly arranged a refund for you.
Best regards,

Product won't work for me. Update: received a refund.
EDIT: After I posted this review, I was emailed by WinxDVD and they have processed the refund for me. I'm glad this issue was resolved, even though it should've been without me posting a public review.
------------
I bought a one-month license for WinX DVD because I only needed to use it for a single DVD. The software didn't work and would only rip around one minute. Sent an email to customer support with the log file, which started a series of back and forth as they tried to offer solutions. They do reply quickly, which is nice, but none of the solutions worked. When I asked for a refund, they instead just gave me more things to try that all failed. At this point, I no longer even needed the product because the event for which I needed the DVD was already over. Again, I tried to ask for a refund, and instead they tell me to try a different program. I told them at least twice I had no use for another product anymore and instead would like a refund - because their software didn't work. At this point, they simply don't even reply to my question about refund and still try to get me to download another of their products so it can be exchanged. I have no use for this other product so have no reason to want to exchange it. For a product that has '30-day money back guarantee' on their website, this is a serious disappointment and it's exhausting that a refund can't just be offered when the product has shown not to work for me.

Winx DVD Ripper Platinum Software Review (DEC 2020)
I purchased the Software earlier in the month for their Winx DvD Ripper Platinum Edition.
First look at their website left me thinking it might be a scam, which it wasn't according to my sources, so I went ahead with the purchase. I made the purchase as the trial version did not work for me, as the clips I needed to Rip were in excess of 5 minutes.
The software once purchased had an interesting modernish interface, and while I wished to test out its capabilities, it appeared to fail with every single hardware driver and firmware combo I threw at it, as well as different DVDs and tests.
I believe this may have been due to my hard drive having some unknown region lock issue with it, or possibile from the software not having a compatibility with a different part of the hardware I was using aside from the High End Optical Drive (Blue Ray, DVD and CD Read/ Write).
After troubleshooting the issue for a week, and a delay with responses from the support team, I requested a refund. Looking at their refund policy, I assumed I would meet resistance, but they immediately proceeded to process my refund without needing me to do anything further.
Due to not having enough experiments to test whether my PC was having issues with this particular hardware (Some other costly ripping software and video converters/ editors I tested in the same circumstances had similar issues, while surprisingly two free options (MakeMKV was one of the two, I forgot the other one), and a custom .bat command for command prompt did work without issue)
The crash that occurred upon trying to load the DVD, or if it didn't fail there, when trying to rip the DVD (Even using various presets and setting configurations) would result in my Desktop Freezing (Windows explorer crashes) and then I only can move my cursor around, but cannot interact with any menus, taskbar, start menu, control panel, and not even task manager, not any other menu that is open nor minimized.
After frustratingly running into too many dead ends as far as troubleshooting goes, and a 48 hour delay with one of the support ticket requests, I requested the refund, as I said was processed immediately.
Due to all of the above information, I think the company could use some website designer, and possibly an overhaul of their software, although I am no expert. It didn't work as intended for me, but I think it may work well for others.
I was intending to rip lots of personnel DVDs as well as old movies I wished to backup as well as some anime for high quality AMV editing. I rated a 3 star as I was processed a refund immediately, so no harm no foul, and they were courteous. Would have rated 4 star if there wasn't such a delay in the support process proceeding the refund, or if the software worked as expected. 3 I would consider average for any product, 4 good, and 5 exceeding expectations.
Thank you to anyone who read through this lengthy review.
tldr; Software didn't work for me, but they refunded me immediately after I couldn't get it to work. It may work for you, as I didn't test on a seperate PC.

Mixed Results with Disney Format Rip
The product wasn't able to rip a Disney format DVD with a lecture on it (it rips these for movies without a problem, I'm told, a feature most rippers do not have) because there were so many spoof versions on it that would require a lot of manual selection and time, so I returned the product and received my money back.
For my trouble, though my needs were specific and couldn't be met this time, they offered me a free license in the future in the event that the product is able to achieve the result I had purchased it for, or should I need the product in the future.

Good software, Annoying Updates
I have been using the WinX DVD ripper for a couple of years now. It generally works well (but not always), and their support is fairly responsive, so far. My biggest annoyance is that it seems like about half the time I try and use it, it needs an update. About half of those seem to fail, and I am stuck waiting a day or too or them to send me a new code. My latest email from them includes an allegation that I have installed this on more than 1 computer. I think not, I just ran the friggin update they forced on me, and now it is broken. Perhaps they will respond tomorrow or Tuesday, and next weekend when I have time play, I can look at this again.
If it were not for the frequent upgrade challenges, I would easily rate them with 5 stars. Right now I feel overly generous giving them three. I guess I am optimistic that their support team will eventually come through for me.
