AWESOME SOFTWARE I was sceptical as I have used many things in the past, free, paid and demo products. THIS IS AMAZING. So far I have done almost 44 DVDs (out of possibly 1800) and so far only one has given me questionable results - it may be a setting I need to check or change. I will not hold this against the company. I've had no need to contact them as yet for any form of technical support so cannot comment on the process. Those people that have slagged off the company need their head looking at with a microscope to see if they actually have a brain. It is the easiest software I have used. I am not a novice by any means but nor an expert. The 5-minute rip claim must be on an 8th or 9th generation Intel / AMD processor but mine only takes 1/2 an hour per disk. Still, I cannot complain compared to other software that was also paid that took 2 1/2 hours per disk KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I have had the both the Ripper and the Convertor for years now and have had no problem with either. I have just purchased Videoproc and I have been using the convertor. The only problem I have is that I cannot find any instructions on how to use it. I could do with a download, are there any?

Ignore the negative crap written here, I'm guessing it's mainly coming from computer illiterate people who wouldn't know their browser from their search engine. Digiarty is a well established, respectable, and trustworthy company which produces thee best video/DVD software available. I have been using WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe and WinX DVD Ripper Pro for many years without any issues and they both do a superb job. If you want the best, go with Digiarty. I am in no way associated with the company, just a very satisfied user.

I too am baffled by the negative reviews here. I tried out the free version of WinX DVD Ripper for Mac, and it worked as advertised, so I purchased the software about a year ago. Since then I have converted a couple hundred DVDs to load on to my media player. There was some learning curve as I have some DVDs with dubbed English tracks, and others where the primary audio is a commentary track, so it took a bit to figure out which video (and audio) file to rip. WinX DVD Ripper guesses right on movie DVDs about 95%, but doesn't do as well on TV series DVDs. And of course it has no idea if you do or don't want that "Making of…" featurette included on many DVDs. I usually open the DVD using player software and then skip around to figure out what I do and don't want to rip. (You can also do this from within WinX DVD Ripper, but the play window is somewhat small.) It does have the annoying habit of taking you to a web page every time a Disney encrypted disk is ripped explaining the encryption (kind of old after the 30th DVD). It also does not support BluRay, which is not a big deal for me. I have two DVD devices, and I was able to duplicate the software so that I can rip two DVDs at one time. A big help time wise. The ripping speed can vary greatly depending on the DVD. DVD video is 24 frames per second. The ripping can vary from 250 frames per second down to as low as 35. So some DVDs will take up to 2/3 their playing time to rip, while others will rip in 15 or 20 minutes. I haven't done extensive comparison with other software, but I have not found anything better. Support is all email based, but is responsive and helpful.

I'm glad I didn't see all the negative reviews before purchasing VideoProc. What I like is that it makes downloading videos and stripping audio content video easy. The software design is intuitive enough that I didn't need to read the manual. It's speedy and the resulting files are high quality. I've found VideoProc a huge and affordable time saver. Those who hate the company seem to have had frustrations with getting problems solved. So far in my case, no problems to report. Four years later, VideoProc is still my video processing software of choice, with many free updates between then and now. The app is so intuitively designed, I've never had to look up how to do something.

Get a free copy from their giveaway. Can download cute videos from YouTube easily and can convert videos to MP3. Very Good.
