Some months ago I purchased the DVD ripper and got a free copy of the converter. Both of which are really good pieces of software. BE CAREFUL though as the free converter will suddenly start directing you to upgrade and taking you to the company website to do so. If you do, your copy is replaced with a 5 min limited version and then they tell you you aren't allowed to upgrade and have to pay £30 to buy the full version. I've even pulled a pre-updated version of the App from my time machine back-up, but that is also now been amended to 5 minutes only. It's a real shame that they do this as the Ripper and the Converter are great and I WAS happily recommending them to others - though not anymore *updated post. I've just edited this as in my original I called it a 'scam' but I'm not sure whether this a deliberate tactic or just poor customer support coupled with what seems to be 'English as a 2nd language' issues. All I want is my original pre-update converter back
