Really glad there's still a host that fully supports Classic ASP. GoDaddy claims to support Classic but some code doesn't work. Thankfully I found Winhost and didn't have to spend the time to convert sites to .net

Very easy to switch over. No interruptions. Much cheaper and no annoying sales emails! Not being a computer geek, I am having some trouble getting all the supporting stuff (like email) up & running like I want it to. I will deal with that stuff later as it isn't critical.

The remaining star is left for improvement, winhost should make it an habit to send update emails to their customers. Create a relationship with them through periodic emails concerning the websites, services they can offer. That helps cement the relationship we the customers have with them and also creates a sense of proximity.

They should make room to increase resources. For example, when email size gets full, they should allow customers to buy additional space.

Instead of taxing the email servers, we offer an Email Backup service that will securely backup email and attachments on the Amazon cloud and includes search and recover tools.

If you are looking for Windows based Server for your hosting purposes, This Host is a good choice. They provide latest versions of Win Servers, with almost all services one may need including databases, emails, control panels and more. One will not be disappointed with them. This review is entirely on my own experience with them and doing this not for any monetary benefits!

very reponsive support and refund when i needed it. there is a problem with products that winhost market for other companies (like SSL), it is not sure from the site if it is a "forigen" or winhost product. but in winhost products, it is excellent

We are happy to know that you are satisfied with our support. I want to address the comments about SSL. Winhost is not a certificate authority. For convenience, we resell SSL certificates and have integrated the ordering process within our control panel. We do state the SSL certificate brand and product names. Customers also have the option to purchase SSL certificates from other vendors of their choice and use the cert with their hosting account at Winhost. If anyone has any questions about SSL, just contact our team and we'd be happy to assist.

I like this company and their service. The only reason for four rather than five stars is lack of support for the most current version of .Net Core which I know is forthcoming.
Response from WinhostFeb 21, 2020
Thanks for the review. We do maintain a list of .NET Core versions that are installed on the servers in our knowledge base at https://support.winhost.com - If there is a version that is not listed, you can always use Self-Contained Deployment to get those apps working on our hosting platform. There are KB articles on self-contained deployment and/or you can contact our technical support team and they will help you out.

As of now, WinHost has delivered on what we needed. So far so good, its been 1 month, our programmer wont use anything else. Personally, i have not worked within the domain to be able to judge fairly, but from what we understand it is the most practical in creating a website according to personal preference. Making web designing easy,.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the support. We found 4 tickets related to your account and we replied to them in a timely manner but we did not receive any response back from you on those tickets. I'm not sure what website was lost for 8 days as I do see that your website is up and running and the account has been active for over a year Are you referring to another account or another ticket? If you are still having issues, please let our support staff know what the issue is with detail so they can replicate the issue and which account you are referring to. Please reply to the one open ticket so that our staff can understand all the actions that have been taken to resolve the issue.
