The camellias arrived in the spring of '26 in excellent condition, had excellent roots, and were vibrantly healthy. Nice big size for the container price. Shipped in good time. The plants weathered the transplant without a drop of shock or a single yellow leaf. They withstood the hot summer beautifully. It is now early fall '26 and the camellias look so good that I have high hopes for them going forward. I will be ordering more if Wilson Bros prices remain reasonable.

I am shocked to read a bad review of Wilson Bros! If this is the nursery in Georgia, I consider them to be the 'Gold Standard' for shrubs and trees, especially ones that are hard to find and ones that are in 3 to 7 gallon pots. I have been buying deciduous azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias and a very hard to find dogwood all summer long. The plants all arrive in perfect health and beautiful condition. They may cost a bit more than some other nurseries but they are definitely worth it!

They sent a sub standard flowering tree that was the wrong color. I started a PayPal case.

Dishonest production standards and terrible customer service. Do not buy from this nursery. They are actively concealing that their ‘Filip’s Golden Tears’ Lawson Cypresses are sold as rooted cuttings rather than grafted specimens. Any reputable grower knows this conifer requires a disease-resistant rootstock to survive long-term soil-borne pathogens. By selling ungrafted cuttings, they are supplying an inferior plant destined to die. In their correspondence, they admitted to this practice but deflected blame, stating the roots were healthy upon shipping and claiming it was my responsibility to ask about their propagation methods beforehand. This level of deceit and refusal to stand behind their product proves they prioritize profits over plant longevity and customer satisfaction. This company relies on unfair loopholes to deny returns and avoid accountability. After instructing me to send photos, they rejected my claim simply because the plant had already been put in the ground. They completely ignored the fact that they sold a defective product destined to die. They even argued that I shouldn't have unpotted the plant, completely disregarding that unpotting is the only way a buyer can actually inspect the root system. Defending a sale based purely on the technicality that the roots were alive at the moment of shipping is completely unacceptable customer service. Public reviews for this establishment reveal a troubling and consistent trend: many buyers report that their plants perish shortly after purchase. Furthermore, management regularly avoids accountability by deflecting the blame onto the customers rather than examining their own stock. While a trustworthy nursery focuses on customer transparency and long-term plant health, this business fails on both fronts. Potential buyers should also be warned that the flawless ratings on their official website are highly misleading, as they actively censor negative feedback to only display positive reviews. Save your money. If you want healthy, long-lasting plants and professional service, go anywhere else. Buy a proper, grafted specimen from a reputable nursery that prioritizes plant longevity and honest business practices.

This Nursery is a scam. They advertise plants with a free shipping and a few days warranty. I paid $68.85 for a dead plant. Read all their advertisements because they are shady in being forthcoming with the information. It looks real good up front but they don't take care of their customers by sending semideadplants that aren't going to make it. I amended the soil and mulched it so it wouldn't have competition with grass . I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to pay for substandard plants .

I bought 2 sugar and spice arbovitaes. I planted and watered them exactly as instructed. After about a week the needles on one of them started turning brown and falling off. I contacted Wilson Brothers by phone and an unpleasant woman gave me an email address and told me to send my concerns to it. I did so and after 10 days I had not received a response. By then it was clear the tree was almost dead. I submitted a warranty request. A customer service person contacted me and told me my first email had been auto closed by their system and no one had read it. He then told me to submit pictures. I did so showing a tree with only about 10% of it's needles left. He responded "good news-it's still alive" (it clearly was not) and gave me instructions to do basically what I had been doing all along. During that time the second one started dying the same way the first one did. After a few more weeks both trees had lost 100% of their needles, the branches easily broke off and it was clear the entire tree was dead. I found out from a nursery that it is likely that the entire root system had died in transit. The inside of delivery trucks get extremely hot and can kill the root system. The damage doesn't show up for several weeks. It took quite a long time for my trees to reach me so this makes sense. At this point I posted a very honest 1 star review with a picture and Wilson Brothers refused to post it. Based on online reviews this is a common practice for this company and so customers are only allowed to see positive reviews when they shop on their website. Based on my experience, Wilson Brothers does not honor its warrany, it ignores and deceives its customers and it refuses to post bad reviews on its website. It is a disreputable company and I would never recommend that anyone do business with them.

Over the last couple of years I have ordered various plants and trees (Maybe 10 items). I am not a rookie gardener but all items I ordered died. Valentine pieris was the first-dead. Ferns dead. Weeping Japanese tree-dead. Lepracon dogwood-dead and doesn't even grow in my zone. All came looking good and packaged well but I noticed that none were rooted in the pots. Just a lot of mulch around the roots. Won't waste my money here again.

I ordered several Camillia plants for my home 2 years ago. The plants arrived smaller than expected. Now 2 years later the plants have remained the same size as when they arrived. I sent an email to customer service which was useless. They could care less. Will never buy from them again.
