The process was straightforward and relatively easy to follow. Easier access to assistance would be helpful.

It was easy to use; it took a reasonable amount of time for my wife and I to put things in order.

I’ve used the healthcare directive and the revocable deed software. It’s all very straight forward. The deed print out met the required specifications for the County Recorder. I do wish that it also would print a revocation form in the event we would want to revise the deed. I appreciate Nolo keeping up changes to align with state laws.

Hi Marlyn, Thank you for sharing your experience with WillMaker—we’re glad to hear the documents have worked smoothly for you. You’re right that WillMaker provides a revocation form for the health care directive. We agree it would be helpful to also include one for the transfer on death deed (TODD), and that’s already on our to-do list for future updates. In the meantime, most states include revocation language directly in their TOD deed statutes, and the requirements are usually quite straightforward. If you’d like to look up the specific rules for your state, you can find citations to each state’s TOD statutes in the articles here: https://www.willmaker.com/legal-manual/transfer-on-death-deeds. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback—it helps us improve WillMaker.

Overall the product is excellent and has everything one needs. The interview approach is very good. However, there are 2-3 sentences with poor sentence structure causing me to have to read them multiple times. With the Living Trust, if one has a pet caregiver to whom no money is designated within the trust, the statement generated in trust document makes no sense. In my case I have funds for this purpose designated outside the trust.

Thank you for your feedback! We hope you received our recent customer support email explaining how to use the pet trust provision in a way that works best for your situation. (The key is to leave the amount field blank if you do not wish to leave money for your pet’s care through your will.) If you didn’t get our email or have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know — we’re happy to help! Please reach out to us at 800-728-3555 (ext. 1) or email [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.

Made preparing a simple trust very easy. Could not find a roll-over will document that was suggested to accompany the trust document.

Great product. I would prefer the program to be available as an iPad app. That would be more convenient for me.

It was thorough and easy. My only problem was printing it, but I think it will work now.
