I give 5 stars for the product itself as it is very tasty and more healthful for me with my immune issues. Having meat that is not fed grains has been a blessing as I do not experience pain after consuming, as compared to grain fed meat. The fact that it is also lower in fat, and cholesterol is a plus plus! I also appreciate the free shipping when I order bundles, but sometimes I want to order individual items without a bundle and I cannot because I cannot afford the shipping. One other issue is when it is shipped ..I live in NY and box should only be shipped on a Monday ( not a Wednesday )..because the fed ex people handled my shipment very badly and we had to go running after them, or risk a complete meltdown of our entire order! Still I am thankful for ranchers like this who treat their animals well and go the extra mile and don't take grain shortcuts..it shows in the quality of their meat. The staff is super nice to deal with as well..rare these days..

We have been purchasing bison from this great company for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed with the products they offer. I don't eat any beef or pork so this is a great alternative and I like the fact they have recipes that you can follow exactly or tweak them to your liking.

The steaks were great and easy to prepare. Going to try the meatloaf recipe next.

I wish our local meat market (HEB's Central Market) would carry your meat. It is tasty and hearty and I wish everyone could have access to it. But I love dealing directly with you. Your solid customer service makes me feel like I'm speaking with my neighborhood butcher. Your vision of reinstituting buffalo to the plains makes our purchase worth it.

I was a vegetarian for years on moral ground, but a medical condition requires that I eat meat, and especially bone broth. I love that your products taste great, and I can trust that your animals lived real, natural lives, uninterrupted by the chaos of transportation, etc. Thank you for the integrity with which you raise and make quality meats available.

We were given a "Broken Heart Gift Box" as a housewarming gift when we moved to the west coast, and we have been buying various packages ever since. The quality of everything is incredibly delicious, nothing is tough at all. The meat is tender and fresh. Every order we've made came beautifully packaged frozen, on ice. We have some of the bacon in the freezer, and we are looking forward to having some! Especially delicious are the shanks. We made a delicious osso bucco!!! The ground bison makes the be's burgers and Bolognese sauce. We could not be more delighted with the products and the service from Wild Idea!!

The book Buffalo for the Broken Hearted was recommended for my buffalo - loving husband. We both read it and were compelled by the story. We ordered some buffalo and were blown away by the tastiness of your steaks. Now we are hooked. It feels good to eat food that is good for us, great tasting and good for the land.

Your bison is fabulous but it's hard to afford as much as we would like to buy. There have recently been several times when I get excited to see special deals advertised online but then I get sad when I see that you have to be a new customer to use it. I understand that you want to entice new people to try your products but I think you might be missing an important opportunity to reward the loyalty of returning customers.
