I'm in the process of making a lot of positive changes in my life, chief among them is buying responsibly raised food. I looked over numerous websites selling bison, and only Wild Idea guaranteed (among the ones I reviewed) that the bison they sell is 100% Native Grass (this is key) Fed. This is apparent in the complete lack of marbling in the meat. Absolutely none, the steak bundle I ordered hardly compares to "grass fed" meat from stores in my area. Which more than likely is -grain-finished, somewhat to be expected in Illinois, where Corn is King. Not to mention Dan O'Brian has a "come see for yourself" invitation for customers, which I am planning on taking him up on Spring 2016. In case it wasn't readily apparent, I wholeheartedly recommend Wild Idea. P.S. If you're hemming and hawing over the price... Have you priced disease, cancer, etc. lately? Realign your priorities and be better than yesterday.

I am in love with Wild Idea Buffalo. I puchased the April special, and it is all but gone. The package arrived quickly, and there was some thawing, but it was minimal. I hope to order again soon, and hope they continue to run specials. Thanks again for the delicious buffalo steaks.

After 4-5 orders over a series of months, I've got nothing but good things to say about Wild Idea. Meat arrives still frozen solid to me in Washington State, with excellent packaging. The quality is top-notch. I'm hooked on the sausages!

I loved the whole experience. Enjoyed the website, pictures of the ranch, recipes. Ordering was easy and the service was 1st rate. My order got here fast and the quality packaging kept the entire order frozen solid. I can't wait to order again. thanks!

The Buffalo prime rib was worth every penny!

My husband loves sausages and I wanted flavor yet still be somewhat healthy. Bison is the only red meat we eat. Becoming disappointed with the choices available in my local area, prompted me to search the web. I admit when Wild Idea Buffalo came up I ignored at first due to the name. Through my search and reading all the others I figured I might as well listen to their 'spill" as well. I am glad I did. We thoroughly enjoyed the Italian Sausage, Buffalo Brats and Andouille Sausage. The breakfast sausage was too strong to eat the morning of with pancakes, but were good the next day with onion, cheese and roll for lunch. The chorizo also had good flavoring. The buffalo hotdogs, and kebalsa was tough skinned, (could have been my cooking) and not our favorite. We were pleased with the ground buffalo although as others have mentioned 3 of my packages came in with loose seals. The bison smelled and tasted fine but I would prefer the seal tight! My order did get delayed a couple of times due to the weather and the Amy was helpful in getting everything straightened out. I placed my second order today and branching out to roasts and a couple of the ready made items. I also ordered some bones and jerky for our beloved dog Jewel. Thanks Wild Idea Buffalo for a wholesome product and great customer service. Cannot wait to get my order.

Received our meat in completely frozen state and put immediately in our freezer. We live in Texas. Just today my husband and I enjoyed the petite tenderloin steaks that I just broiled in the oven without any seasoning. They were so delicious and tender. I'm definitely excited to try the other meats. A great addition to our healthy diet. Highly recommend and will be sure to pass your information on to friends and family.

We ordered a small bundle of prime steak and ground. It came exactly when they said it would, and it was still frozen solid( I live in western WA). The packaging was heavy duty, no leakage. The meat is tender and delicious. If we could afford to eat it everyday we would! We'll be buying more and highly recommend it.
