I wanted to try a test of your buffalo hot dogs and brats before the Memorial Day holiday. I ordered 1 lb. of each. The cost was around $24 the shipping was $29!!!!!!!!. I'm not kidding $29, it was more than the meat! I get it! You have to send the meat frozen in a special box and all that. But then you turn around and give the guy buying $250 worth of stuff FREE shipping. Why do I have to subsidize his order? I'll pay for my shipping he pays for his shipping, simple. Or maybe give the person trying out your product for the first time, i.e. me. an enticement of FREE shipping on their first order? With that is off my chest......I loved the brats and dogs!

I ordered $250 worth of product, some was partically thawed, but 3 filet steaks were completely thawed, good thing we were planning on steaks for dinner the next night or I would have lost some expensive meat. Some of the ground was beginning to thaw around the edges, but know it was OK to re-freeze. I neighbor who orders from Wild Idea has mentioned the same problem. Would not recommend ordering during the summer months when it is extremely hot....

If you order from Wild Idea be sure to communicate with the Fed Ex office/distribution center associated with the area of delivery. My parents sent me 10# of ground buffalo and unfortunately it arrived at the Cedar City Fed EX on a Friday but not delivered until Monday (we do not have Saturday Fed Ex services in our town). Needless to say we had to throw out several completely thawed (and warm) packages. We were able to salvage a few but won't be cooking these burgers rare!

I've ordered from Wild Idea before and have always been very happy. This order left me a bit bummed out. Several items in the order had partially thawed leaving me pressured to eat them right away. I love Bison but the 4th day in a row eating bison? Well it wore on me a bit. Admittedly this isnt a disaster but it was annoying enough to make me shop around for a potential new bison farm.

The meat is, as always awesome. The shipping issue I've had the past two ties I've ordered, have left me wondering. But the issue has been, to my knowledge, resolved, so my future orders will be shipped by another shipper. Pleased with meat and customer service regarding issues in shipping.

Website easy to use and was pleased with delivery. Was disappointed with shrot ribs preparation of the cut. Too much silverskin and the jelly substance left on the ribs. The sausage were good, expected more of a smoked flavor from the Applewood sausage. Over all satisfied. Will try some other products.

I ordered 25 lbs of ground buffalo and signed up to receive 2 free lbs. although this was clicked and promo code applied, this was not shipped with my order. I wrote an email and they said they received the promo code and it was indeed entered. However, I now have to wait to place my NEXT order before this is applied. As I ordered 25 lbs, and I am a single family purchaser, it will probably take me 6 months to go through this. For what it's worth...

The ordering system was easy to use. However, the person I sent this to was named Dan and he received a card inside the package addressed to someone completely different and from someone else. When I asked if he received his gift, he had no idea it was from me. It was just a bit frustrating.
