Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

Wild Idea delivers an excellent product with friendly customer service and quick ship times. Our favorite products are the sausages, brats, and hot dogs, but you cannot beat their steak cuts. And, Wild Idea corned beef has become a new holiday tradition for our family! Wild Idea not only serves up delicious products, but consumers who want to fight the industrial meat market can feel good about making this choice.

My husband and I started to cut calories out of our diet. A local restaurant here serves Bison Burgers, with a nutrient pamphlet on the table showing difference in Bison and Beef. We ordered and honestly could not tell the difference in that or a hamburger our supermarket was selling it at the time, but was priced a little higher a pound every time I went. I searched the Internet and found great reviews from Wild Idea. This is second time I have ordered. Great service and great selection and taste is great. I've always just bout patties and ground beef, I ventured out and bought stew meat this time. Can't wait to try it.

Received my order and even though it came up from Phoenix in record heat the package had not thawed at all. Had two rib eyes that were out standing

Just had the top sirloin. We haven't had steak in years for health reasons. The bison steaks were unbelievable, better than steak and easy to prepare... Salt, pepper..on the grill. Amazing!
