About ten years ago, I ordered the Sparkle wig by Raquel Welch. It was perfect the first time I wore it. No one ever seems to notice it’s a wig. I was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, and medication has thinned my hair. I ordered another wig in Sparkle as a backup. This wig is absolutely nothing like the first one. It has twice as much hair and makes my head look like I’m wearing a helmet. It definitely looks like a wig. A huge wig! I can’t believe the same style can look so different. With all that’s going on with my health, I don’t feel like returning it, but I don’t know if I’ll ever wear it. It looks ridiculous on me.

Nancy, We’re very sorry to hear that your new Sparkle wig did not match the fit and appearance of the one you’ve loved for so many years. We understand how disappointing this must be, especially when you were counting on a familiar style during such a difficult time. Variations can sometimes occur between wigs, but we would be happy to help explore options to make this right. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and wish you all the best with your health and treatment.

I am a victim of female pattern baldness and I purchased the Winner by Raquel Welch to cover my super thinning scalp. The fit of the wig was perfect as was the color and style. I am fairly new to purchasing wigs, so when I wore it for a haircut appointment, my hairdresser was totally in love with the look the wig gave me. He gave it a good inspection, and told me it was well made and to be sure to get a spare! I can't tell you how many complements I have had on this wig! I look and feel younger even though I am 77.

Thank you for your kind words!
