I booked a car via Car Jet for one week paid in full. When I go to collect a car i was informed by staff they haven’t got my reservation after making a phone call and half an hour waiting i was informed that my reservation was cancelled because i came to late instead 10am i was 11.45am and car was rented to someone else.I my opinion even i come late car been paid in full for a week and should be for my disposition any time.On the and i have to use different car rental and coast me extra stress and money.Wheego is a worse car rental in planet.

If I could rate them with 0 as the worst worst worst service I would. They charges us for a damage we never did 2.000€, which was exactly the amount they told us we will pay if anything happens, if we don’t buy their insurance!!!

Wheego Bulgaria, Sofia Airport. Avevo prenotato appositamente una piccola auto con cambio manuale. Al momento del ritiro, però, mi è stata consegnata un'auto automatica e mi è stato detto che non c'erano altre vetture disponibili. L'auto è stata ritirata il 4 aprile e restituita il 7 aprile 2026 in condizioni perfette: nessun danno, nessun graffio e nessuna contestazione. Anzi, è stata riconsegnata più pulita di come l'avevamo ricevuta. Anche il personale ha confermato che la vettura non presentava alcun problema e che il deposito sarebbe stato restituito integralmente. Nonostante ciò, gli 800 euro di deposito sono stati addebitati sulla mia carta di credito e non mi sono stati restituiti. La cosa più grave è che via e-mail mi è stato comunicato che il deposito sarebbe stato sbloccato il 19 maggio. Sono passati più di 2 mesi dalla riconsegna dell'auto e settimane dalla data promessa, ma non ho ricevuto nulla. Ho contattato più volte l'azienda. Mi hanno sempre rassicurato che era tutto a posto, che il rimborso sarebbe arrivato e che si trattava solo di attendere. Nel frattempo continuo a ricevere e-mail con le solite promesse: "la pratica ha priorità", "è in lavorazione", "il reparto finanziario sta verificando". Nessuna data certa, nessuna spiegazione concreta e, soprattutto, nessun rimborso. A peggiorare ulteriormente la situazione, ora nessuno risponde più al telefono. Trattenere 800 euro per mesi, dopo una restituzione senza danni e dopo aver promesso per iscritto il rimborso al 19 maggio, è un comportamento che considero inaccettabile. Per la mia esperienza, Wheego si è dimostrata una compagnia poco affidabile e con un servizio clienti incapace di risolvere un problema così semplice. Ad oggi (10/07) sto ancora aspettando i miei 800 euro.

Hired a car from this company whilst on a trip to Poland. And apparently picked up a parking fine which I was unaware of. Over a year later they have charged the credit card I used to hire the car 469 Pln When the fine was only 100 Pln. So that’s over three times more than the original fine for processing it. That doesn’t seem very fair to me. No wonder this company has lots of bad reviews…..

While I was happy with the car itself, I unfortunately fell victim to the final inspection and claims that I was to blame for a tiny scratch on the exterior of the car that wouldn’t have been visible when I picked it up as the car was clean. Dust from the dirt road and rain settled into the hair-width scratch and the agent claimed it was not there before. Photos before the rental would not have revealed it so they charged me for it (over $900 which is outrageous). Fortunately I had purchased the additional insurance via booking.com so they are dealing with it.
