I have modified my review
This is my modified review as WeVideo have clearly listened to my issues and have bought back the in track file titles that were originally missing from their update. It will get a 5 star if they can fix the multiple copy to timeline feature. Well done +++ first review of upgrade below +++ . Wow the new upgrade is HORRIBLE. I used to like Wevideo but they have removed some really important editing features and there is NO online chat to help solve the problem. The new upgrade looks good BUT as soon as you start populating your timelines the drawbacks become obvious. There is no ability to group input audio or image files into the timeline. You now have to do them individually. If you have 100 image or sound files that suddenly becomes a big job. Also to make it worse once in the timeline you can no longer identify the file name. When you have 100 sound files in a timeline and you cant identify them, it makes the edit also impossible to keep track of the files. You used to hover the mouse over the file and it told you the file name. Now it just tells you duration which is useless on its own. I haven't looked at other features but these 2 have wasted so much time and added more work rather than make the editing job easier. it would help if WeVideo had a proper online chat facility as I have reported issues via their email support in the past and it takes up to 48 hours to get responses which is as good as useless when you are working to a schedule. I pay roughly $60 per month for this and I now think it is struggling to be justifiable. Also, it is lacking in the number of overlays. The 3 that do exist are basic at the very best and detract from the end result. Please correct these issues

Hi David, Our team is aware of the issues you mentioned with the new editors and is working to resolve them as quickly as possible. The issue with adding multiple clips to the timeline should be resolved by tomorrow. The other issue with sorting content is a top priority, and they are hoping to have that resolved by next week. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing. If you would like to receive updates on this or have any other questions, please contact us at [email protected]. I appreciate your patience.
