I am to poor prob just going to use a free software, like you cant post a 6 min vid for free wow what the hell.

I used WeVideo a few years ago and really like it. I recently was making a project and noticed that I had to pay for what I had done for free previously. Even after paying, most of the pictures either wouldn't load or weren't accepted by the platform. I adjusted my project to be less than I wanted it to be. The links provided haven't been working to anyone that I sent them to. I know this platform has amazing functions because I have used them in the past. I feel like I spent a lot of money for a project that was less than I wanted it to be and that no one can see.

Not a great editor compared to something like CapCut. I have used WeVideo extensively for 3 years and will not be renewing my subscription now that there is a better alternative. In the time I have used it, they have made no significant updates or improvements, and the tech support is just not good. It honestly doesn't seem like the people who run this company really care about their product- it kinda just is what it is. I will say that the stock footage library is pretty good, but many of the clips you try to use give you an error message on exporting, which leads to frustrating trial-and-error process of seeing which ones will work to export.

So Expensive! Not value for money at all, when I'm trying to export videos it wants me to switch to a more expensive plan which costs a fortune! Absolutely ridiculous!

I signed up for the basic plan and two days later I upgraded to the unlimited. They charged me both plans together lol. Sent an email to ask a refund for the first charge and they said no refund even I used my unlimited plan for a month and I paid twice. Never coming again to this online service.

WeVideo was once one of my favorite editing softwares. but for the last few years its been failing at everything. 1. Unreliable WeVideo has a tendency to crash on a project. if your lucky you will be able to restore your progress. sometimes you lose some but what ive noticed is when a project crashes, it will no longer be accessible as it will crash over and over. costing too much time to be valuable 2. Pricing. I cant even begin to explain these prices. Prices are getting more and more expensive for little to no perks. as of now ive only noticed the no watermark. 3. Support The support is near impossible. They leave you on read almost all the time and when they decide to finally respond after weeks its to a forum you have most likely already checked. repeat this process until you give up and move on. Overall I'm done with WeVideo. they tried and they had something good. but its too unreliable for professional use. I do not recommend WeVideo to anyone.
