Beth I.
Will be looking for another dealership.
Our 2008 Honda Pilot began making an unusual noise. We took the vehicle in late one afternoon for "diagnosis" and were told that it was the power steering pump. We left the vehicle overnight for repair and were called the next morning to let us know the vehicle was ready. When we arrived, the service personnel went to get our vehicle and immediately came back in and told my husband that the noise was still present. Now, we need to wait to have further work done (this time it is supposedly the alternator). So, we have a new power steering pump (for $600) and a vehicle that is still making the same noise that it was originally taken in for service with. They now want to charge us an additional exorbitant amount of money for a new part that may or may not be the source of the noise. This is like going to the doctor with abdominal pain, being told it's your gallbladder and having surgery to remove the gallbladder, only to find out you have a ruptured appendix! We have been Honda customers for over 20 years, and this is by far THE WORST dealership service center we have ever been to. If they want to make it right, they'll admit that they messed up their "diagnosis" and make the necessary repairs for no charge and refund us what has already been paid as compensation for time, energy, lost hours at work, and aggravation.
