I have often heard the Lennox commercial on the radio. I needed to refinance my house after a home equity loan raised my interest rate to 4.5% I have always used the internet and phone to obtain my home loans because of the convenience. Lennox says on their radio advertisement that it is the biggest no-brainer of all time. I thought why not give these guys a try. Mr. Greg Lapointe and Ms. Lakhana Lay were truly professional, hard working, diligent and excellent at fulfilling my individual needs. Their communication skills through email and phone was exemplary. Superior customer service is what I received, and they made me feel like I was the only client that they had to service. Their attention to detail and follow up made the process so easy that we were able to wrap up the loan within 30 days. Now that is impressive. I highly recommend Lennox

This was my 5th loan with Breton and Lenox and by far the worst experience to date. The other 4 loans went flawlessly without much friction. This most recent loan process was absolutely painful. The only reason I gave Lenox 2 stars, is because the loan actually closed on time but barely. Kathy, the loan processor was terrible. She was absolutely horrible at communicating our progress and I had to email her daily for updates. At times she wouldn't answer my emails so I would call. During one call, she told me I was "harassing" her! I asked her if that was the word she wanted to use and reminded her that I was the customer. She changed her tune and then said I was "pressuring" her. Lenox had 45 days to close the loan and wasted nearly 3 weeks trying to get a 1st home loan through underwriting. Underwriting was asking for a ridiculous amount of documents, statements and letters from us on a daily basis. After fearing we wouldn't close on time, I asked them to switch our request to a 2nd home loan. If I hadn't recommended the change, I'm certain we wouldn't have closed on time. Then it came time to have the home appraised. Lenox hired the appraiser, which I paid for immediately with a credit card. The appraiser took 3 weeks from the payment date to submit the report only to have multiple errors requiring 3 revisions. The appraiser went back out to the property and then took an additional 3 days to submit the revisions. This process put an incredible amount of stress on us while we were busy with our careers and needless to say, I won't be doing business with Lenox any more.

Based upon what happened immediately after closing, my mortgage was "priced to sell" instead of pricing to get my family the best rate and value available I would not borrow from Weslend/Lenox in the future nor recommend others to do so. I would find another lender that would openly work with me and create value and savings for the duration of my loan.

Michael Tipton and Kathy Bui helped us get through the refinance in a resonable timeframe amidst the Harvey aftermath. Very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

if you want a company that won’t give you the best interest rate go with that company if you want to go with a company that can’t get you the best cash out go with that company if you want to feel like you were working for them go with that company. not a very good experience I would recommend not going with that company

Terrible follow up by the Mortgage Broker. Management covered for him, in his absence of follow up, and outright disappearing. Was given a Good Faith Estimate, a week prior to closing, but at closing there were several changes, which I never knew of until an hour before the closing. Overall experience was negative, not from the online process, and your system, but the people I had to deal with. The loan processor Kathy Bui, was extremely professional, and highly professional. She is the only reason why I didn't go look for another bank in this process. Overall, experience was below average.
