I was told that I was approved for a re-finance. I double checked to make sure I was approved before I spent 800 dollars on an appraisal. I was told again I was approved. I paid for the appraisal and then I didn't hear from them. I waited a couple of weeks and no one got back to me so I tried several times to get a hold of someone. Finally I got a hold of someone and they said everything was approved. A little while later I received an email saying I was denied. I called again to see what was going on and I was told that shouldn't have happened and they would send it to another lender. That was the last time I heard from them. I decided this wasn't the place for me. I went through another company and the process took about a month and a half and I got the loan. Of course I had to pay for another appraisal. This was not a good experience. I would definitely not use Weslend financial again.

I need to ask someone who has financed with them& the loan didn’t go through cause it says unsatisfactory contract and that was the reason why& I called them& I’m waiting for a call back from them cause I have not got a answer yet so I’m so confused on what’s going on or what does this even mean?

Could have been better lots of going back and forth for info think it could have been more concise upfront on what information was needed not on tail end before closing. closing had to be moved due to information was not in properly could have been a smoother process I think

After the initial phone call, they were difficult to get ahold of, easily irritated with questions and most important there were fees at closing and we paid for the appraisal. Not exactly truth in lending. Will not recommend.

This was my 5th loan with Breton and Lenox and by far the worst experience to date. The other 4 loans went flawlessly without much friction. This most recent loan process was absolutely painful. The only reason I gave Lenox 2 stars, is because the loan actually closed on time but barely. Kathy, the loan processor was terrible. She was absolutely horrible at communicating our progress and I had to email her daily for updates. At times she wouldn't answer my emails so I would call. During one call, she told me I was "harassing" her! I asked her if that was the word she wanted to use and reminded her that I was the customer. She changed her tune and then said I was "pressuring" her. Lenox had 45 days to close the loan and wasted nearly 3 weeks trying to get a 1st home loan through underwriting. Underwriting was asking for a ridiculous amount of documents, statements and letters from us on a daily basis. After fearing we wouldn't close on time, I asked them to switch our request to a 2nd home loan. If I hadn't recommended the change, I'm certain we wouldn't have closed on time. Then it came time to have the home appraised. Lenox hired the appraiser, which I paid for immediately with a credit card. The appraiser took 3 weeks from the payment date to submit the report only to have multiple errors requiring 3 revisions. The appraiser went back out to the property and then took an additional 3 days to submit the revisions. This process put an incredible amount of stress on us while we were busy with our careers and needless to say, I won't be doing business with Lenox any more.

Terrible follow up by the Mortgage Broker. Management covered for him, in his absence of follow up, and outright disappearing. Was given a Good Faith Estimate, a week prior to closing, but at closing there were several changes, which I never knew of until an hour before the closing. Overall experience was negative, not from the online process, and your system, but the people I had to deal with. The loan processor Kathy Bui, was extremely professional, and highly professional. She is the only reason why I didn't go look for another bank in this process. Overall, experience was below average.

While the process started out well, it became increasingly more difficult and less customer friendly. WesLend failed to provide frequent and seamless loan approval status updates as was originally promised. Candidly, we are very disappointed in the service we've received and are seriously considering withdraw of our loan application and moving our business to another lender / provider.

Don't trust the ad claiming "no cash out of pocket" and low interest rates. It's just not true. The process of refinancing our home started smoothly enough, but the delays due to miscommunications caused our "locked in rate" to expire. To keep the rate we had to "buy down" the new rate, which was higher...shocker. I'm certain the delays were intentional to earn a little cash at closing. The good news is that we won't ever have to do this again. The disappointing thing is Lennox not delivering on their promises.
