Well... There were no frequent updates and the order was shipped at the very last few days of the expected delivery date. Im theory the package took 2-3 days more than the expected to be delivered. Also the portable projector arrived with 0% battery. Who knows how long has it been sitting at 0%. 0% is death for lithium batteries. Depending on how long it has been sitting at 0%, this brand new portable projector might have a considerably reduced operation time on battery. I haven't timed it yet, but it feels like the battery life is a little low... Certainly not the advetised 3 hours. But 2 hours might also be a lot... I will time it... If not for the 0%, this would have been a 4 star review with just the delivery being a little sluggish, but the battery is an unforgivable mistake on your part wemax.

I got the projector today and i can't turn it on

First, no carrying case come along and can't get 3rd party one in the market. Second, no pre-installed Netflix and can't get from wemax play store. Hope Wemax can release an software update soon to resolve item 2.

I've had some issues with the projector, after testing it I'm not happy with the image quality given my setup. I've been trying to return the item, but customer service is requiring me to go through a series of steps, including recording and sending a video before they will accept my return. I wish I had ordered the item from Amazon.

The review is related to Wemax Go Advanced Projector. The only way to communicate with the support and service team was through email. While there is a number to call, it never reached custom service during US or China time, and no one return my call after I left a message. I generally received the email response with in 24 hours but answer to all of my software related questions about why Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ did not work on their device were "copywrite". If you don't have copywrite to install any of the media on their device, why these services are advertising under product description.

There is no way to adjust lenses hence this projector turned out to be useless for my location

I purchased this with high hopes. The colors and brightness were good. Now to the not so good. First issue , there was a fairly loud, very high pitch whine that the projector made. It was very annoying and made the projector not work for us. Second, a smaller issue but not a deal breaker , you absolutely need a screen with the laser projector. Projecting onto a textured wall will not work. Third, they wanted to charge me at 10% restocking fee for the defective item. That made me very unhappy with the company.

I had brought the we max nova 4k projector + 100 inch ALR screen bundle for $1999. Within 2-3 weeks of my purchase he price was dropped to $1499. I reached out to the support team asking for a refund of $400 since it is a substantial amount. I was turned down by the support team and felt ripped off. Any decent company would have price matched and refunded he difference.
