I have used and love my welltory app for over two years, taking measurements faithfully twice a day. About 2 1/2 weeks ago the measurents went from a consistent 100% to a consistent 65% even though I am doing everything exactly the same way. I sent an email to the support@welltory address a week ago with no response. On their website they have a "contact us" link that doesn't allow you to contact them, but sends you to a FAQ page. Terrible customer support. I would hate to have to find an alternative (especially since I bought a lifetime subscription), but the app is worthless to me right now.

Hi Bob! Thank you for being with us for over two years — we truly appreciate your consistency and loyalty 💙
We’re very sorry to hear about the sudden change in your measurements and the difficulty reaching support. A consistent shift like that definitely deserves a closer look, and you should have received a response to your email.
Please check your spam folder just in case, and if you don’t see our reply, we kindly ask you to contact us directly through the app via Menu → Report a problem so we can prioritize your case. If you mention this review, we’ll be able to locate your request faster.

Inconsistent readings
Inconsistent readings, seems to be all over the board. Will say my health is at 20% then over 90% couple minutes later. Also if you have health anxiety don’t get the app, the inconsistency of data that it gives to will always make you feel like there is an issue with your health

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
Fluctuations like that can happen if measurements are taken under different conditions, for example, after moving, talking, or feeling stressed, since heart rate variability (HRV) is very sensitive to even small changes in your physical or emotional state. To get consistent results, it’s best to measure at the same time each day, in a calm state, and under similar conditions. Please don’t worry if your readings vary, as that’s normal, and small shifts don’t necessarily indicate a health problem.
We truly appreciate your feedback.

I liked the look of this app and its…
I liked the look of this app and its promise. After a few days with the free version they gave me a trial of the full version which I found very confusing. It then kept telling me everyday that my profile was worse than usual even though it had measured baseline. When I couldn’t connect my Apple Watch as it’s a series 3 then I decide to abandon it and delete.
Response from WelltorySep 29, 2025
We’ve only recently joined this platform, so we’re catching up on reviews now. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear the trial felt confusing and that the messages about your profile left you discouraged, as that’s never the experience we want for our users.
The insights are based on your personal HRV baseline, which can sometimes take a bit longer to stabilize, and we understand how this might have felt inconsistent. As for Apple Watch Series 3, unfortunately it has limited support, and you can't install the app there, but you can still take manual and automatic HRV measures with it.
We truly appreciate you giving Welltory a try, and your feedback helps us see where we can make things clearer and smoother.

I like the app but it is rigid and doesn't adapt
I like the app and results change in very broad strokes to what happens in my day to day life, but doesn't adapt to my data in specific ways.
In particular, I generally go to bed before 7 PM and waken generally between 2 AM and 5 PM. Despite having full access to my sleep data the report every day after I wake up assumes I have not been asleep for the night yet. Despite having finished a full night sleep.
Response from WelltoryOct 1, 2025
We’ve only recently become active on this platform, so our reply comes with a delay.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we’re really glad to hear you like the app, and at the same time, we understand how frustrating it must feel when the insights don’t fully adapt to your unique routine.
Our algorithms are designed around common sleep/wake cycles, which means people with earlier or non-traditional schedules may sometimes see reports that don’t reflect their true sleep.
We know this can be discouraging, and your feedback is valuable. It highlights exactly where we need to make the app more flexible and inclusive for different lifestyles. I’ve shared your case with our team so we can continue improving how Welltory adapts to individual patterns, including earlier sleep times.
If you ever notice something similar again, please don’t hesitate to send us a bug report through the app, and our support team will be glad to review everything for you. To send a bug report from the app, go to Menu, scroll down till the end of the screen, tap Report a problem, briefly describe your query in the comments window, attach a screenshot and tap Send.

Welltory customers are their beta testers
The 2 stars are only for those who think 1-star reviews are just angry rants. The following is not a rant. It is overwhelming disappointment.
I am trying to use Welltory's HRV analysis and collect health and environment data from multiple devices and apps I use for vitals, sleep, activity, etc. I have a disabling illness so health data analysis and correlation would be very useful. I am also tech-savvy and I know my way around data and apps. Finally, I work in enterprise so I know when a customer is being taken for a fool.
1. First, Welltory data processing and data analysis is not reliable. Data availability is a hit and miss. Data integrity is not verified, so you cannot trust what you see. The app and 'help center' offer no clear guidance on how to set things up properly - instead, the gamification pulls you in many directions that eventually prove detrimental to data quality. Correlation graphs include incorrect data, missing data, wrong baseline calculations - How can you trust any information, after such blatant problems are introduced to your data? How can this terrible quality be offered as a commercial service?
Other examples: you have no way of knowing reliably what data is retrieved from which platform (they are instead grouped in obscure non-customizable categories), or what third party connections are set up or not. The status information is not updated as one expects.
By the way, the gamification is a total miss, since you can't even complete missions due to various integration problems and bugs.
2. The application bugs are countless. I use a recent flagship phone, so I expect paid apps to work. Well, I've had to reinstall the app so many times, close and reopen, and some bugs are still there and replicable. For example, the settings where you can manage third party app integration is a gimmick that takes many days to update your live connections. Other examples include profile customization problems, navigation problems, etc.
3. The claims of third party integrations are dishonest. For example, Welltory claims integration with Omron blood pressure monitors - however, that integration relies on google Fit which is being deprecated (and for which Welltory is not able to establish new connections, a long-standing problem apparently). So, Omron integration will not work, and Welltory did not even bother to ask them for their roadmap, nor did they feel the need to take down the ads for Omron even after they've admitted to all of the above...
4. User support is sub par - they will ask you to debug and work around their terrible implementation and make you try again over and over. Their support medium is a chat tool inside the app - however, it lacks basic functionality like knowing problem report status (open, in progress, closed). Good luck finding your way in your list of problem reports - even the agents have lost track.
5. Customer service is non-existent - if you contact them by email, you are redirected to the same problem reporting tool (the same people staff both with the same procedures!). I work in enterprise myself and problem reports are the last thing a user needs to know about. So, you're discussing both customer value and bug workarounds with the same partially available person.
Overall, it feels like Welltory uses its paid customers as beta testers. Alpha testers even.
Their promise is grand, but the experience is outrageous.
Response from WelltoryOct 3, 2025
Hi Philippe,
This is our first time being active on this platform, so our response wasn’t immediate. Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear how frustrating your experience has been, and we understand that when you’re investing in a health app, especially while managing a serious condition, you expect reliability, clarity, and trust above all.
On data quality and analysis
You’re right that HRV and other physiological signals are complex and require context. Welltory’s algorithms work by comparing daily data to your personal baseline, but we know issues like missing values, integration delays, or unclear categorization can make results feel inconsistent. Your feedback highlights exactly where we need to improve. Thank you for this!
On bugs and integrations
We know that bugs can ruin the experience, even on flagship devices. Some integration issues are limited by third-party changes that are outside our direct control, but you can connect the Omron Connect app to Health Connect, and then Welltory will be able to receive your data from there.
On customer support
It’s disappointing to hear that your support interactions felt repetitive and unhelpful. If anything is still relevant, please send us a new bug report from the app, that way our support team can review your case directly and provide clearer answers about your specific data and integrations.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. Even though this was a difficult experience, reviews like yours are invaluable in helping us improve for users.

Difficult to get accurate readings
If I cough or clear my throat while taking a measurement, I get a message that something went wrong instead of a reading. I bought the app because I have health issues but if my issues are symptomatic, it won't take a measurement. And in order to get a good reading, I have to hold my finger so tightly against the camera, at such and awkward angle, I feel as if my hand is going to cramp. And all customer support tells me is "don't move" when taking a measurement. I don't.
Response from WelltoryOct 15, 2025
We know this reply comes late, these reviews have only recently become available to us here, but we still wanted to make sure we respond to you. We’re really sorry to hear that you’ve had a frustrating experience, especially since you’re using Welltory to help manage health issues.
The camera-based HRV measurement is very sensitive because it relies on detecting tiny blood flow changes through your fingertip. Even small movements (like coughing, adjusting your grip, or muscle tension) can cause the signal to break, which results in the “something went wrong” message. You don’t need to press tightly against the camera, a light, steady touch and relaxed hand usually give the best results.
We truly appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our team, as improving the comfort and reliability of camera measurements is something we’re continuously working on. If you’d like, you can also send us a bug report via Menu → scroll down → Report a problem, and we’ll check your specific case in more detail.
