Hi Michael, I'm sorry that you feel you had a bad experience with us. The breakdown of a typical Wefunder raise is about 67% from the founder/team's personal network, and the other ~33% comes from our investment community. And 100% of the first 50k comes from your own network. Therefore, your network (close family and friends, professional contacts, connections from socials, etc.) is critical for a successful raise. The timelines we give are based off the feedback we get from the companies that we are waiting on to submit the K-1s to us so that we can distribute them to you. We also are putting in more measures so that this doesn't happen again for the companies on our platform for next year. Hi Roger, Thanks for reaching out. During the due diligence process, Wefunder deemed that the company did not meet our standards to approve the company to raise on the platform. When this is the case, Wefunder removes the raise from the platform and refunds all investors who invested money into the raise including any fees that were associated with the investment. I'm sorry that this caused you to provide us with a 1-star review, but Wefunder did this in the interest of our investors.
