My dog likes your product but my neighbor used my feed raw, another blend Nature’s Blend. He got pancreatitis. She gave it to me. My dog started vomiting. I am now blending smaller amounts into his old food. 33% is a high fat content don’t you think?

We're sorry to hear that. It's important to understand that not all raw is created equal. Our meals are PhD formulated to be complete and balanced per AAFCO standards the fat content remains within a range that supports a balanced diet for dogs. Additionally, there is no evidence that a specific fat percentage (such as “over 20%”) on its own causes pancreatitis in dogs. Veterinary research shows that pancreatitis risk is linked to sudden, excessive fat intake (for example, greasy table scraps or abrupt diet changes), not to a single fat number on a label. The individual dog’s risk factors matter far more than fat percentage alone. For healthy dogs with no history of pancreatitis, there is no evidence that moderately higher-fat diets increase pancreatitis risk when fed appropriately.
