I worked as a Software Engineer for 5 years, used ton of softwares (video, design, music) and never faced such a lame interface. I don't get the hype.

I initially used webflow for one or two page websites: services or MVP landing pages/etc. I recently started using its membership and particularly its subscription services ecommerce platform. What was relatively easy to learn and build with in the design space is convoluted, inflexible, and painful to make work the way even their own purchasing process works.

I made the switch from WordPress to Webflow because their website templates look a lot better. Big mistake. I'm already heading back to WordPress. Let's start with their customer service - it's practically non-existent. You send them an email and then wait weeks for a reply, if you get one at all. What's worse, I paid for a whole year upfront. Then I decided I wouldn't continue to use the service so downgraded my plan so I would not be charged next year. Unlike other SaaS companies that give you the remainder of the period to keep using your current plan, Webflow instantly bumps you down. Fine, i'm not going to use it but its a terrible retention tactic designed to keep users on the platform. And every little extra thing you might want? That's going to cost you. For anyone with a website that's even slightly popular or has a fair bit of content, the costs will skyrocket to thousands each year.

Worst scammers.. I paif for afreelancer account.. no export button. then sudenly I needed to pay for a CMS account.. no export button. then sudenly teh site is on a "starter plan" so I gues you need to pay for a site too ? worst scammers.. you cant see yout plans - no way to cancel "my freelancer plan" contact support give unknown error. email suport gives "not used anymore".. horrible user exprience. horrible company.. worst scammers ever.

Paid for the whole year up front. We have for years (since 2016), recommended many people (20+) to the platform, i will not be doing it anymore. Recently there has been numerous problems with google search (SEO) with numerous pages not indexed/searchable although they had been previously (500-1000 visits per week to 0). Have 6 months left on the year and asked for a refund as they cannot solve the problem, to add insult to injury they REFUSED. Reluctantly I am moving to wordpress (i have lost six months worth of money - not because they are good) which solves all the problems webflow has. If you are new to web design - check out framer - MUCH easier to use and friendlier on the pocket. If you are wanting more than a landing page, Wordpress still out performs webflow. On top of that, the editor/their website has been down at leat twice so far this month.

Since my journey in web design began in 1996, I've navigated through various tools and techniques to bring my creative visions to life. However, none have resonated with me quite like Webflow. As a designer with an extensive background in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I find Webflow not just a tool, but an extension of my creative process. The support desk is proactive and their helpful approach has been invaluable, providing assistance that goes beyond mere troubleshooting. The intuitive interface of Webflow allows for seamless design-to-code transitions, making it an ideal tool for designers who like to have full control over their projects. The platform's robust features cater to both my aesthetic sensibilities and technical know-how, striking a perfect balance. With its user-friendly approach and continual evolution, I foresee Webflow becoming and remaining a major player in web development and publishing.

They received cancellation request 2 weeks prior to re charging me again -For the 2nd month in a row, and refuse to respond. Pathetic service.
