I manage websites professionally
I manage websites professionally, and this has been one of the most frustrating support experiences I’ve encountered. One of my clients was locked out of their Webflow account, and their website went offline after their hosting subscription expired. Unfortunately, they can’t even reset their password because Webflow placed their email address on a suppression list, preventing password reset emails from being delivered. So now we have a business with an offline website, a client who can’t access their account to update billing, and a problem that only Webflow can resolve. We’ve contacted Webflow support, and it’s been over 24 hours without a response. Meanwhile, the client’s website remains offline, potentially costing them leads and business. For a platform that charges businesses to host their websites, this level of support is unacceptable. Account recovery and billing issues that result in website downtime should be treated as urgent, not left sitting in a support queue. I generally like Webflow as a website-building platform, but experiences like this make it incredibly difficult to recommend it to clients who depend on their websites for their businesses.
