I have not had to use it except or testing, so my rating is upon no true real life usage...

I looked at all the various product offerings in the category where Wearsafe resides. They are clearly leading the entire space. Good job!

I think this is one of the best services for young women in college.

I was a supporter of their Kickstarter campaign. Throughout the campaign, they kept us informed, met every date for updates, product delivery, etc and were fantastic in response to personal communications. When the product arrived and the software was released, it exceeded expectations. In short the product and company are just as good as it gets. Now a quick thought on the product. If you have a relative on deaths door (or who lives somewhere with poor cellular coverage), get one of the similar products that are monitored by a 24 hour professional monitoring service. They will notify EMS/PD/Fire first then you. If you or your relative are very sick you need help coming right away because minutes could be the difference between life and death. If you are like me and have a relative who is getting older, having issues falling, no one is around that can help them up, and/or you are willing to take on the responsibility for that person's life by taking on the responsibility for 24 hour monitoring - sometimes its a tradeoff between a persons pride and safety to get them to accept one of these - or you are using it as a high tech "rape whistle" or something of that sort for a son/daughter/younger relative, there isn't a better product than this.

The button is quite delicate and can be easily triggered. hence in the event of a real problem, it may not be taken seriously.

What I don't like is when my phone is on silent (which it always is because I don't want to be bothered with random texts and emails) the wearsafe notifications don't come in very loud. They just vibrate which is great if I'm holding my phone but not great for my friend in danger if I'm not. Would love to have an option in the app that allows it to override my phone being set on silence because ug I friend is an emergency I want to hear it and help-and if I ever have to push my wearsafe button I want my friends to hear me. More points to consider-my friend already lost her wearsafe and it's been a week because it slipped off its clip system that comes with the device. Perhaps consider something more sturdy. Also a huge fear of mine is ring in a location where I have low cell survice and either my message for help won't go out or my location will be wrong. One last point-because I use Bluetooth for slot of other things or sometimes turn it off maybe see if there is a better way to pair or if for some reason I am connected to something else it overrides I'm using to get signal on or maybe somehow manages to turn Bluetooth on so you can send the message of help. Just some thoughts.... now to what I love about wearsafe: I love knowing that I have my wearsafe on me, last night I was out late with a friend and when walking through the empty parking lot to her car I kept my wearsafe in my hand ready just incase, it's a good feeling knowing in a couple seconds your friends/family will know where you are and what's happening.
