Over a week and a half for a hard drive to arrive. Express delivery is not the work for it. Emailed them, but no response back

Habe am 30.11.20 eine My Cloud Home 6 TB online bestellt. Mein erster Anruf am 17.12.:“die Bestellung wird am 19.12. verschickt“. Es kam nichts an. Zweiter Anruf am 28.12.: Wir erwarten die Lieferung aus China am 30.12. und werden die Platte umgehend an sie weiter versenden“. Angeblich wurde mir dazu eine Mail geschickt, welche bei mir nicht angekommen ist. Dritter Anruf am 12.01.21: „Die Festplatte kann wegen großer Nachfrage nicht geliefert werden. Sie bekommen dafür eine 8 TB Platte zum gleichen Preis“. Bis heute habe ich KEINE Mail bekommen, wurde nicht auf dem Laufenden gehalten. Für das neue Angebot muß meine ursprüngliche Bestellung storniert werden, wird mir eine Mail mit Gutscheincode per Mail zugeschickt. Dann muß ich neu bestellen. Wird mir mit dem Storno auch das Geld zurückgeben? Bezieht sich der Gutscheincode auf bereits gezahlten Betrag? Bin gespannt... Ich habe mir sicherheitshalber die Vorgangsnummer geben lassen. 17.01.2021: Da weder Benachrichtigungen, noch der zugesagte Gutschein zugestellt wurden, habe ich über den Käuferschutz von PayPal das Geld zurück bekommen. Nachdem ich einen Gutscheincoupon für eine Neubestellung bekam (28.01.), konnte ich nicht widerstehen und bestellte erneut. Und zwar genauso, wie es mir vom Kundenservice angeraten wurde. Warenkorb-PayPal. Witziger Weise wurde ich nach erfolgreicher Zahlung zurück zum Warenkorb geschaltet, um zu zahlen!? Da ich das schon getan hatte, ignorierte ich die Aufforderung. Ich habe eine Bestätigung von PayPal und gut. Seitens WD kam keine Bestätigung des Kaufes. Ich habe dann direkt an den Service eine Mail mit der Frage geschickt, ob ich nun verbindlich gekauft habe, oder nicht...

It's a shame! The methods of digital westerns are mafia. Since 6 months, western digital's after-sales service has been making promises to repair my Mycloudhome duo, which has broken down and which I am still awaiting repair or replacement. With each call, new promises that are never kept. It is outrageous and dishonest. I lost a lot of time and work because of this. I feel like I have been stolen

Ordered NVME SSD. Never arrived. The order does not even show up on their system any more. Worst shopping experience of the year. PayPal dispute opened.

Nicht zu empfehlen, Geld wird einbehalten ohne bestellte Ware zu versenden. Kontakt zum Support schlichtweg nicht möglich. Geld über Paypal Käuferschutz zurück geholt, einmal und nie wieder Western Digital.

Never order from their online store! My package was damaged by the courier (UPS) and never arrived. UPS just told me to contact WD. WD customer services were not willing to do anything about it and the customer service agent I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude and disinterested. Luckily I was able to get my money back through Paypal. Would never order from here again.

Appalling WD Service Centre in Swindon As an IT manager myself, I have been absolutely appalled by the support service at WD. I sent a hard drive in for repair at their Service Centre in Swindon only to be told that the item sent was a red box of cheap headphones. And they will not honour the repair or replacement. And the thing is, this is the second time it has happened, as I sent a hard drive in for repair 4 years ago on behalf of my company I worked for and they played the same trick not realising I was the same person. I wonder, if this is happening to other customers? Please add your experiences here. I will never, ever buy a WD hard drive again!

Nightmare to deal with, issue with ext hard drives and format, Three Months been going back and forth, and no further on, they answer the question you have not asked, but not the one you have asked, back to seagate I guess. Suggested as not fit for purpose sold for they replace with a drive that is. Stay clear, and looking at other reviews here, I am not alone
