WD NAS WD20EFZX-68AWUN0 hard drive faulty after 6 months. RMA turn around time is written on the WD support site is supposed to be 5-7 day. Spoke to support over web chat and told it would be escalated. Now a week later still no progress. From looking at the other reviews I will be doing a Money Claim Online (Small claims court). If it wasnt bad enough a hard drive failing in 6 months but no support means I will never be a customer again. Going back to Seagate!

Terrible warranty and customer support. Would never purchase anything from them again. Customer service staff are incredibly unhelpful. 5 weeks waiting to have my drive even looked at after sending it back

Warranty service apalling! Registered RMA, sent faulty drive to the warranty centre. After weeks of waiting started chasing but got a standard response about some difficulties with some software they use for booking. Few weeks later chased up - the same response. Escallated and had a response back in french lol. Again nothing materialized. Keep chasing up regularly with no outcome. It has been 3 months now. Have no hope of getting anything back. Part shortage my white pale back side. There are plenty of stock on the shops. Decent company would have bought one from there and send me or gave a refund so I can get one myself. Never ever again WD.

Had a mypassport for Mac that broke within 4 months - Sent it back to get it swapped. Well....... Been waiting 7WEEKS and NO replacement has been sent. Told there was a global shortage of components when I phoned THEM (thanks for not letting me know a month after you'd received it)!!!!! Agreed to receive another model twice and has been escalated twice, three weeks later and still ABSOLUTELY nothing. Customer Service is completely hopeless. Very very unlikely to buy WD ever again. Simply not worth it if something goes wrong.

Bought their PR4100 24TB server in 2020 all was well till October when one of the drives failed after going round in circles i managed to get a RMA code to send it back they received it on the 19th Oct and still there when i called was told they had no stock? Then 4 weeks later another drive failed its took a couple of weeks to get a RMA code and sent it back on friday So when I received a Black Friday deal email it seams you can buy the 6TB hard drives yet not send ones out under warranty! Very very disappointed in this company

Bekomme jedes Woche eine Mail (nur in Englisch) das für meine MyCloud EX2 der Support endet und ich diese bald nicht mehr Nutzen kann. Das ich mir deshalb eine neue Cloud kaufen muß und somit einen Erheblichen Schaden habe ist denen genau so egal wie die Tatsache das ich Deutsch spreche. Nie mehr MyCloud.
