I ordered a hard drive for ver cheap from their refurbished line, low and behold, it was bad so I returned it. There is a reason why they are selling cheap hard drives and its because they don't work. Now then, their customer service and return for the hard drive was a long and boring process. They don't have a nice way of returning stuff like amazon does so you will have to go on an adventure to find a way to return the item. They also seemed to have forgotten that I returned an item and were not issuing me my refund so I had to contact them again, which then they proceeded to give me my refund, Luckily, I keep a note of important stuff so I remember 1 and a half weeks later...

I ordered a “WD_BLACK™ SN850 NVMe™ SSD with Heatsink - 1TB” for my son’s birthday. I was working from home on the planned delivery date, so I was at home the whole day. UPS delivered the parcel to a nearby “UPS Access Point” for customer collection and send me an email to that effect. The shop was almost a mile away from home which was inconvenient. For the interest of getting the birthday present to my son in time, I went to the store straight after finishing work. However, the shop decided to close early that day. I came back home without my son’s birthday present. We celebrated the 14th birthday without a present ☹ I went to the UPS Access Point again the next day to collect the parcel (half hour walk) which was another unnecessary trip in the hottest weather since records began. I contacted WD store explaining the bitter experience, and received the following response: “UPS is a 3rd party company and we don't have control of their processes or insights of all of their procedures”, which was shifting the blame to UPS and not taking any liability or blame. This is a prime example of a very poor and appalling Customer Services from WD. So, I would not recommend shopping at WD online store. I’d buy from the best known online reputable company, you can guess the name.

Gosh, I wish I read reviews before I purchased. Knowing WD as a brand for Hard Drives, I stupidly didn't think to check out the reviews before ordering. I ordered on 23 July and it's been showing as 'processing' since then on their website. I have contacted customer services several times but they insist it's been dispatched on the 23 July but can't find a tracking number. In the meantime I've been charged but also can't get a refund as they say it's been dispatched albeit with no evidence. They only say I can get a refund once I receive it and return it back. Even if it does turn up, I don't trust them to process a refund given this experience

Commande réalisée par erreur un dimanche et impossible d'annuler. On peut envoyer un mail ou via facebook mais réponse reçue bien plus tard que la livraison; Obligé de refuser le colis Remboursement qui n'arrive pas après 3 semaines. De qui ce moque t'on ? ... Lamentable préférez les marques concurrentes qui ont un site internet avec un bouton annuler.

Ich habe mehrere 20TB WD Red Pros gekauft. Diese sind aber inkompatibel zu meinen LSI HBAs (9305-24I und 9207-8I). Der WD Support hat mich auf LSI verwiesen. LSI hingegen hat ausführlich technisch erklärt weshalb dies ein Problem ist worum sich WD kümmern muss, da WD sich nicht an den Standart hällt. Da ich keine Lust mehr auf das Theater habe, schickte ich die Festplatten zurück. Viele davon sogar ungeöffnet. Diese sind am 13.07 bei WD angekommen. Der Support vertröstet einen nur ständig man solle noch warten. Ich warte seit 3 Wochen! Bei jedem anderen Hersteller und Shop ist eine Rückzahlung in aller spätestens 2 Wochen erledigt. Normalerweise in wenigen Tagen. Ich habe nun PayPal zur Klärung eingeschaltet, denn WD selbst interessiert sich offensichtlich absolut 0 für die Kunden.

Only every bought from here once before about 2 years ago and the service has not improved. I wish I had not purchased from them again. My order was free shipping 5-6 days and we are on day 6 with my order still not dispatched, not surprised as the same thing happened with the last order as well not sure why they take so long to ship but they won't be shipping to me anymore. Not used the customer service thankfully but from comments on here they are worse.

I purchased a WD passport 2TB in March 22 for my Mac and have had nothing but problems with it failing.I registered it online after purchase.When I needed help there was no customer services only online FAQs which made no sense at all with the issue.No contact number the online help was their questions not mine.Problems persisted and now does not work at all. Contacted Apple for remote help for 2 hours we tried and was advised it was faulty passport. We even put it on another computer and didn’t work.Couldn't login to WD tried the forgotten password recovery( even though it was correct) and never received an email -did it 15 times. So there we are wasted £50 will go in the bin and will never buy a WD again ever. It’s still under warranty too but who do you contact when there is no contact,who knows it’s totally useless.

Needed a fast ssd really quickly as I was on a job. Website said next business day delivery assured (my naivety, I assumed WD being such a big brand would not falsely advertise such). I ordered on Friday the 1st, Package only arrived on the 15th. Needless to say, I didn't need the device anymore as I made an alternate plan at extra cost. Not only this, the order was placed & I received a confirmation. Money had not left my account so I grew suspicious. No tracking was available other than their own internal tracking on the website (which I don't believe at all). Tracking was hung for a week on "items being prepared". I struggled to find any contact info, and their socials are being moderated to delete negative comments. I got through to a human eventually via the chat on the site. Call centre operator was relatively helpful in that they realised that the order did not even go through. I asked for a cancellation, which they obliged to. However they did not cancel the order but submitted it anyway a few days later. At that point I received another order confirmation this time with UPS tracking. I was told that the only way to cancel was to first receive the item then return OR to deny the package upon arrival. My account was already charged so I did not do this. They took so long to deliver I wasn't confident the refund would even get processed. So in the end, I kept the SSD which I no longer needed as the job was already done. The only redeeming feature was that the item was significantly cheaper than elsewhere.
