Bought a My Home Cloud drive... at first worked a dream. Right click on all the folders you want to backup and click Sync and away it goes. Backing up all your files... So I changed networks a year ago, only got around to setting up the backup more recently (yesterday). They have now stopped support for backing up from your PC, it literally only now syncs with your phone and your cloud storage from other places. So the 3.5TB drive I bought to back my PC up to no longer gas that function. I complain they say no don't worry, use this 3rd party software, which costs £35 a month!! Jokers, wish I'd never bought it, it is absolute waste. If you want 3.5tb to back up your phone pics and Facebook posts then you're stupid. For grown-up use and serious backup it's a waste of space... and to perform this change which nullifies the reason I bought it and it's selling point is a joke

Worst company ever encountered. No customer service, and they steal your money as they don't give back refunds or replacements,just they lie and say they do. They got my return in October, according to tracking showing it was delivered, but refuse to refund, it is now November; still nothing. To anyone considering them please avoid; You will lose your money.

By far the worst customer service ever encountered! Robot emails! Do NEVER use their security features because once they stopped supporting the sec app you can't open it anymore and they provide absolutely zero knowledge how to solve the situation. Sending links to irrelvant pages makes you feel that their support is handled by robots or peolpe that don't understand english. Complete waste of money!

Ich möchte allen davon abraten Produkte der Firma Western Digital zu kaufen. In den letzten 3 Jahren gingen innerhalb von 3 bis 6 Monaten nach dem Kauf 3 verschiedene externe Festplatten von WD kaputt. Plötzlich konnte mein MacBook sie nicht mehr lesen. Es handelte sich um eine SD externe Festplatte, eine 4 TB Festplatte und die G Drive 5 TB Festplatte, die als sicher und besonders stabil beworfen wird! Darauf befand sich wichtiges arbeitsrelevantes Material. Diese Festplatten dienten als Back Up! Wie viele Back Ups muss man denn noch machen?! Die Datenrettung jeder einzelnen Festplatte kostet bis zu 4.000 Euro !!! Dazu hatte ich richtig Stress bei der Arbeit, weil ich auf die aktuellen Daten nicht zugreifen konnte. Wenn Euch euer Job was wert ist, FINGER WEG von der miserablen Qualität. Der Kundenservice ist ein Witz! Sie scheinen meine Beschwerde nicht mal richtig gelesen zu haben und haben mir einen Umtausch angeboten. Was soll ich denn mit einer neuen Festplatte, wenn die Daten weig sind ? Die dritte/ aktuelle Festplatte war 3(!) Monate alt! Jetzt geht es zum Anwalt, ich klage die Kosten von Datenrettung ein! NIEMALS WIEDER

DO NOT ORDER from Western Digital Fraudsters. They take your money process order and send you email after taking money that item is not avaialble. You cant cancel order online and customer service is based abroad so procedure for getting your refund is extremely slow and comolicated. I ORDETED AND PAID AND INSTANTLY GOT 2 EMAIL ONE RE ORDER ANOTHER SAYING ITEM NOT AVAILABLE THIS IS AFTER TAKING MONEY! SO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER!

Not used my drive for a few years, went to log on and unable to log on - by mistake tried to log in with no password - imagine my surprise to find drive totally empty with no reported errors.

Wenn der Support für ein Produkt, das ich 2 Jahre vorher erst gekauft habe, eingestellt wird, dann finde ich das einfach nur schlecht!!! War eigentlich mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden. Allerdings ist meine "My Cloud Home" nicht mehr so nutzbar, wie ich es gebraucht hätte. Die für mich wichtige USB-Funktion geht nicht mehr. Über das neue Online-Menü klappt aber leider die Datenübertragung nicht. Sehr schade. Dann suche ich mir lieber einen neuen Anbieter, nicht dass bald das nächste Modell von WD auch bald nicht mehr unterstützt wird...

Wir warten jetzt schon seit mittlerweile 6 Wochen auf eine Info, wie es jetzt mit einer defekten Festplatte weitergeht. Nur vorgefertigte bla, bla, bla ... Antworten. Dieser Service ist unterirdisch und niemandem zumutbar. In Zukunft werden wir KEINE WD-Produkte mehr verkaufen !!!!
