I loved their selection and was beyond disappointed when the plants I ordered arrived dead, broken - some branches down to the dirt line - and covered with the dirt from each other's pots. The plants are put into a box without any partitions separating the little pots and then loosely covered with Styrofoam. They rattle around in the shipping carton, smashing into each other - it was a dead, heart-breaking mess. Second box I received from Waside in that condition. Never again.

The order was never completed and what did arrive was damaged. A very friendly customer service team - just lacking the ability to resolve problems.

I would NEVER buy anything from Wayside again. I purchased a 6 pack of chick charms sedums. They were $26. Not only were they miniscule, most of them the size of my pinky, but they were not identified as to which was which AND their shipping department needs to be FIRED. The first time they shipped my 6-pack, it was in a giant box (about 10x what was needed). The poor plants were at the bottom of the box with a bunch of paper crammed on top. Needless to say, they didn't make it upright and the entire container was dumped out all over. They would only replace it, so, they shipped it again. Again, in a HUGE box with paper crammed on top and dumped out everywhere. After the second time, they wouldn't give me a refund, only a credit, which I'll probably never use. To summarize, the product was crap and the shipping was worse. Not a single one of these poor things survived and they were sedums, for gosh sake. You have to work really hard to kill them. Buyer beware!!

Everything I bought was weak and didn't grow. The packing is horrible which doesn't protect the plants. Found no dirt in some of the containers and dried up roots or rotted stems.

My rose purchase never went anywhere still as dead as the came set them on the compost bile!! My barefoot perennials never came to life!

I never would have ordered a $90 tree that was only 2 feet tall.

Some of the worst product I've ever received by mail order and I purchase a lot. Most had to be replaced or credited which you did but the replacement plants wern't good either. I just gave up and forgot about Wayside till now. Years ago you were credible but not now.

Hello, I had been a very loyal customer, and now I throw away your catalogs without even opening them. My last order was petunias which looked awful. I contacted you and had a back and forth that led to no resolution. This was the first time in many years that my railing boxes looked disgusting. I won't order from you anymore--there are several other companies that I enjoy doing business with and they will get additional orders. Prior to this experience I did love your catalog and products. Goodbye...Janet
