Recd the model JD025CE - 80 in April 2026 Waited 2 days to let unit stand in right position The unit functioned very well, I was emptying every couple of days. I have finished basement and the unit performed well. Stopped working in October Tried some troubleshooting, but no good. Reached out to customer support and have been told that unit seems to have an issue with its electronics. I have been offered a new unit ( bigger pail ) And free return of unit. Happy with result. Thanks

The Waykar 80 pt dehumidifier is so quiet! This unit makes our basement big screen tv space very comfortable. It removes excess moisture very efficiently. So glad we purchased this one after researching many others. It was delivered very quickly and customer service is exceptional. Highly recommend the Waykar brand!

I purchased the 34 pts. Capacity Waykar dehumidifier over a year ago for occasional use in my 1,200 sq. ft. finished basement. We really like the attractive styling of the machine, its easy-to-use features and easy to remove washable filter. The handle on the top makes the machine easy to carry and it also moves along easily using the rollers on the bottom. We recently experienced an unusually rainy summer spike, so we ran the machine every single day for about four weeks straight. It performed very well and successfully pulled the excess moisture out of the air. It features intelligent humidity control which auto adjusted the humidity to the targeted 45% very well. Because it had to remove higher than usual levels of humid air, the compact water tank filled up quickly, requiring us to empty it several times a day. For the first year, the machine was impressively quiet. However, toward the end of our heavy four-week run, it developed a persistent squeaking sound, which sounded like a loose fan or some other internal component. When I reached out to Waykar about the noise, their customer service was fantastic and highly responsive. They offered a replacement. I deeply appreciate their courteous and timely response and the fact that they stand behind their product guarantee. Their process is easy to follow and complete. Verdict: Based on the product’s performance and the excellent customer care, we would absolutely buy another Waykar product. However, if you are trying to manage a 1,200 -2000 sq. ft. space during prolonged periods of higher than usual humidity, I highly recommend upgrading to a larger capacity model, so you do not have to empty the small water tank multiple times a day.

What was great…customer service to help isolate a problem with humidity sensor. What was not great…post order shipping/tracking info. Order said 3-5 days. Actual delivery was 10 without any notification.

Dehumidifier was supposed to handle as much as 2,000 square feet. It's in an area of 800 square feet and I can't bring down the humidity less than 47%.. love the quietness but it's not doing the job that I thought it's going to do
