Recently purchased the slick gadget screen.. the signing/registering is difficult ..taking a picture of my screen..and then saying if my pic isnt perfect then my warranty isn’t valid. So far the screen is great .. stays cleaner longer than my other one.

The screen protector works well however the software to register the product is not user friendly.

Lonnie, We are constantly working to improve things and try to keep things as simple as possible. In order to ensure devices are working properly, prior to coverage, we must check them. If you could let us know how we can improve things we would be most welcome to your feedback. Thank you!

I don't care for the fact that an app is needed to be installed on my phone for a screen protector warranty. All of the required permissions is unethical too. Like the physical product but only used it less than a week.

Aprillyn, thank you for your feedback. The app tests are used to help vet devices prior to activation of coverage. This helps reduce "false" claims and keeps the program healthy for all. The app only requires limited access to conduct the tests which only take a few minutes and is designed to be as unintrusive as possible. We constantly look for ways to improve. Thank you.

Hello, I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our product. You purchased the $300 coverage for your screen protector. Our company paid the maximum amount for your claim, $300. It is out of our control that your screen repair exceeded this amount. We provided the coverage that you paid for.

Trying to get them to approve my claim was extremely difficult but once they finally did it was very easy to get the phone repaired and they gave me a $500 credit instead of $300 after i complained for going back and forth with me over email for 3 days. The repair was fast and they did a good job. As soon as my repair was done i purchased another screen protector. Good product but customer service can improve a lot

August 22: Get my repaired phone back. Update: On Jul 31 they said they are waiting for confirmation of a part. Its August 9 now. Really? These guys say bothing meaningful as far as action. I don't see how a company can be reputable the way they operate. I received a pre-auth. I went to UbreakIfix because they are listed as an "authorized" repair shop where I can go through them to have it processed through them and pay the deductible through them. Nope, UbreakIfix says they don't know who Warranty Life is and they don't have a relationship with them and they tell me these 3rd party warranty providers just aren't worth it. Well, since I can't go through UbreakIFix to process the claim, I don't want to pay the full amount upfront. So i see the part of Warranty Life's email that says I can send the phone in paying the deductible only after requesting a shipping label. I have requested the shipping label for 4 days straight and NO RESPONSE. It's funny because in Warranty Life's email to me, they say specifically: "DON'T PAY OUT OF POCKET! An Authorized warranty life dealer MUST file the claim through the partner portal if they are repairing for a Warranty Life product or the customer may not be eligible for reimbursement." What am I supposed to believe, a claims rep or their official email text?

Emailed questions but received very generic responses. However payment was quickly received.

Process was generally slow but this is definitely not a scam as some people claim. Just be sure to quickly and correctly register the product you are insuring.
