WSO had a massive impact on the direction of my career. Coming from a non-target and non-traditional background, I would have had no idea where to get started re: recruiting or even the basics of networking. Whereever I had questions about how to reach out, what to wear, what to read, the right questions to ask, etc., WSO had a thread to give me the answers that helped me eventually land several offers for both internships and FT. Certainly wouldn’t be where I am today without it.

Quality of information is pretty high (and remarkably good considering its coming from anonymous internet sources), second only to personally knowing someone in the industry and asking them yourself. In the end, its basically Reddit but specifically for the high finance industry - and then on top of that, it has courses, guides, and more.

The product was great, the instructor is very clear and the material presented is comprehensive. Overall I am very pleased with the product, but I just don't like the 3 second popup window after finishing a lesson in which you have to press esc to cancel. I think making it like youtube's loading screen, not popup will be better. But it is just my preference and not that big of a deal

I really liked the Wall Street Oasis company databases, as they really helped me in interviews. I think the interface could be easier to use. For example, searching company questions, and the forum as well, as it is sometimes hard to find things.

Well I have been here for a while and it has been quite informative and fun. Although being from Mumbai, didn't see a lot of content focused on global so maybe if you could push it to have a more global coverage? That way, it can be helpful to the folks here as well.

I started browsing WSO during my time as sophomore in college. I had always been interested in finance but had only a faint idea of what it actually entailed. WSO allowed me to both better understand how different jobs within the realm of finance actually work, as well as gain some valuable insights into the cultures / working conditions at many firms. I think the resource was instrumental in my ultimate career search and recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing a career in finance.
