I have not been an active user on your site for a decade plus however I am immensely grateful for the part it played in my career journey. I am now a Partner at a VC firm and this site has been an invaluable resource. I grew up in an inner city neighbourhood and did not have a network to guide me so having access to so many people on the same journey was invaluable.

A welcomed breath of honestly (and humor) when compared with the endless desert of people who either have never done IB or who have been out too long to be relevant. It's a welcome (enough) environment that prepares you for real day to day.

I find WSO very useful, lots of good information on there and a decent place to chat about industry updates.

WSO was extremely valuable to me when I was in college and looking for a job on the sell-side. It was a little less useful to me when I was looking for a public equities buyside role- as the WSO community primarily revolves around IB/PE. The resources/guides also very helpful.

Love the site, has helped me greatly in finding out about financial services.

WSO is a great site for any one pursuing a finance degree. I find the comments to be generally accurate (although the BO hate is overdone). The resource available for learning to model, thinking through career options and mentoring are great. I counsel all grads I mentor to check it out

WSO provides transparency and access to finance and consulting careers unattainable elsewhere. This is THE career advisor schools should be directing kids to learn about career options and interview prep

Fantastic site w/ valuable info for those looking to get into the finance industry.
